You know, we could sit here and list off the ups and downs of this past year, but that sounds boring, right? Right. So just think about everything that has happened on The Vampire Diaries since February of last year.
Yeah, that’s a lot to discuss, wail, clap, and freak out over, right?

The nominations for the People’s Choice Awards 2012 have been announced, and the Vampire Diaries is up for Favourite TV Drama and Favourite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show, with Ian Somerhalder up for Favourite TV Drama Actor and Nina Dobrev for Favorite TV Drama Actress. You guys did a great job making sure Nina Dobrev got on the ballot via write-in vote, which we hear is the first time this has happened in People’s Choice history! Now we need to concentrate the power of fandom on winning all these categories. Get to it, Vampire Diaries fans, and vote by clicking those mouse buttons until your fingers have gone numb. Head on over to the People’s Choice Awards website to start voting. The winners will be announced on January 11th, 2012.
