In case you were unable to catch Joseph Morgan on MTV’s 10 on Top this past weekend, never fear: A kind soul has finally uploaded Joseph’s segment to YouTube and it’s worth the wait because he’s giving a tour of Klaus’s place! And it is as fantastic a glimpse as you could hope for (the framed love letters = brilliant). Also, cool TVD trivia: The paintings in Damon’s bedroom are also replicas of famous stolen paintings.
Spoiler TV got their hands on four more episode titles as we head into the final stretch of Vampire Diaries Season 3 and we can confirm they are indeed legit. Following up 1912 (EP316), returning Thursday, March 15th:
Break On Through (EP317)
The Murder of One (EP318)
Heart of Darkness (EP319)
Do Not Go Gentle (EP320)
So we have references to the Doors, Joseph Conrad, and Dylan Thomas (!!!) – and maybe Counting Crows? All we know is that that leaves only two unknown episode titles for all of Season 3. Where did this year go?
Thanks to Jérôme at Vampire Diaries Show for passing these along: We’re told these are our first Vampire Diaries Season 3 promotional photos of Ms. Candice Accola as Caroline Forbes. If they’re indeed Season 3 promo, here’s hoping more new cast shots surface soon because they are lovely. Check them out in the Gallery or click the images below for larger versions.
The CW has released the official synopsis for The Vampire Diaries: 1912 (EP316), set to air when the show returns from hiatus on Thursday, March 15th. The episode marks the first TVD appearance of Cassidy Freeman as Sage. Highlight for spoilers or head to the Episode Index:
THE MURDER MYSTERY DEEPENS — The present-day murders in Mystic Falls remind Damon (Ian Somerhalder) of a similar crime spree a century earlier. In flashbacks to 1912, Damon recalls a beautiful vampire, Sage (guest star Cassidy Freeman), who showed him a whole new way to exist. Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre) warns Damon not to get involved in her investigation, but Damon is convinced she’s going after the wrong suspect. Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Matt (Zach Roerig) resort to breaking and entering in their search for evidence to prove Dr. Fell (guest star Torrey Devitto) is a murderer. For reasons known only to her, Rebekah (guest star Claire Holt), becomes interested in locating one of the town’s oldest landmarks. Finally, Elena comes to a new understanding of the path her life has taken, and Damon makes an emotional confession to Stefan (Paul Wesley).
The episode was directed by John Behring and written by Julie Plec with Elisabeth R. Finch.
Unable to make it to this year’s PaleyFest? Then this will be ultra-cool news: The Paley Center for Media has teamed up with Hulu to stream this year’s PaleyFest panels, including The Vampire Diaries. From the press release, via Futon Critic:
The Paley Center for Media today announced Hulu is a partner for PaleyFest 2012. As part of the agreement with PaleyFest, beginning March 15, Hulu will stream full-length content and short form clips exclusively on-demand from nine of the festival’s panels on the free, ad-supported Hulu and the Hulu Plus subscription service at http://www.hulu.com.
So that means less than a week after The Vampire Diaries panel in Beverly Hills on March 10th, you too will be able to experience the fun of PaleyFest, via Hulu, On Demand. How cool is that?

The Hollywood Reporter chatted with Julie Plec about tonight’s new episode, All My Children (EP315), and the faces (new and familiar), agendas, and potentially elusive “happy endings” that will carry us through until the Season 3 finale.
THR: In a recent interview, you said there’s going to come a point where a decision needs to be made with Elena and the Salvatore brothers. Will that come before the season’s over or will that be series long?
Plec: The current state of the triangle will definitely come to a head by the end of the season. The most important thing people need to understand now is that “end game” equals end. All conversations about the endgame should be tabled until the end. We’re not going to get out of this season without Elena realizing that she cannot keep fighting her feelings for these two brothers and that there’s a decision that has to be made.
CliqueClack caught up with Vampire Diaries executive producer Julie Plec yesterday to discuss the current Originals predicament, the tension within the Elena/Salvatore love triangle, Stefan’s ongoing struggle with his own humanity, when beloved characters will return to Mystic Falls, and what we can expect as we head towards the Season 3 finale. (After tonight, only seven episodes left!)
The rest of the season is centered around some very specific stories. One of which is that we started telling the audience that there is potentially a serial killer in Mystic Falls. The episode where we come back after the next little mini-hiatus really dives right into that mystery and tells us, starts to give us a sense of what’s actually going on and who’s behind this strange trail of bodies that have been stacking up. That villain and that mystery will be driving us towards the end of the season very hard.
What’s better than a Daniel Gillies Q&A? Being able to hear the words straight from the man’s mouth, that’s what. Huge thanks to The TV Addict for recording the session and be sure to read more over at their website. Watch the video below or watch on YouTube.
Taking a few minutes to chat with press, Daniel shared what he thinks is the reason behind Elijah’s blood-abstinence, what is really going on with Elijah and Elena in those smoldering scenes, and what else he just brings to the increasingly complex role. Daniel also gives some reflective comments on the Original siblings: Klaus, Finn, Kol and Rebekah, and the relationships that Elijah has with each – and what he really thinks of Stefan and Damon.
