Charles Michael Davis sat down with Zap2It to discuss what’s coming up on the next two episodes of The Originals – tonight’s Le Grand Guignol (EP115) and next week’s Farewell to Storyville (EP116) – including Marcel and Rebekah’s relationship, what’s going down in the French Quarter, and the Original family’s many, many issues.
Star Charles Michael Davis tells Zap2it he’s surprised the family hasn’t sought out professional help at some point in their thousands of years of existence. “You’d think they would have thought about sitting down and meeting with a therapist or an M.D. or someone that is certified in their thousands of years, but I don’t know,” he says.
And here’s a webclip for next week’s new episode of The Originals, Le Grand Guignol (EP115). Let’s have a toast, shall we?
More interviews with Caroline Dries as we prepare for tonight’s all-new episode of The Vampire Diaries, No Exit (EP514). First up, Dries talks to Alloy Entertainment about the fall-out from Total Eclipse of the Hart, including Katherine’s plans to get close to Stefan.
Alloy Entertainment: When Katherine was on her deathbed, fans was [sic] pleading for her life to be spared. After she took over Elena’s body, everyone was like “Off with her head!” And during TVD episode 5×14, she’s probably going to inspire even more passionate reactions since she’s going to shamelessly flirt with Stefan. How much fun did the writers have dreaming up seduction tactics for Katherine to use?
Caroline Dries: Are you kidding me? I was so excited for this storyline. When Brian [Young] was writing it and I was reading it — just to think about what could happen — I felt like we were brainstorming fan fiction. I love these scenes so much, and of course it was super fun. It’s a fine dance for Katherine because she has to pretend to be Elena, but, at that same time, she wants to put the moves on Stefan. So we had to figure out how to achieve that in a believable yet entertaining way. I would say it’s Katherine at her sexiest and it’s very intriguing to watch.
And over at Hollywood Life, Dries hints that Tyler and Caroline aren’t over the Klaus-shaped bump in the road.
“They still have a lot to deal with, with learning that Caroline slept with Klaus,” says Dries. “That’s a really deep wound for Tyler to come to terms with. They’re trying to be friends, but there’s this big, dark cloud hanging over them that he can’t erase… That conflict will rear its head again, so they’ll both have to talk about it.”
We have a set of spoilery stills from next week’s The Originals, Le Grand Guignol (EP115), airing Tuesday, March 4th at 8/7c. Check out a still below and then see the rest at ScreenFad.
