We’re aware that sites such as KryptonSite and SpoilerTV blogged about this before the weekend: Episode six (#105) appears to be titled “Lost Girls” (wonder what that’s a play on?), and you can see a HQ promo from Vampire Diaries Show below.

Elena and Stefan

We do so love following the cast and crew on twitter, because they feed their followers all kinds of cool comments and pictures. Sometimes they slip us by, like this ‘another night with the vampires in the forest’ pic that Paul M. Sommers posted on the 4th. Other times, we see them pretty much right off the bat, like this spiffy pic of some extras in 19th century costumes from Marcos Siega, which can mean only one thing: Flashbacks. Waistcoats, please?

On the subject of Twitter, you can now follow Chris Mollere, music supervisor for the Vampire Diaries TV series, at @cmollere. He’s going to be tweeting the music tracks used in the show after the episodes air, so he’s the guy to watch to find that song you loved.

For those who get a kick out of this information as much as we do, ratings for the Sunday night airing of the pilot episode in the USA came to 1.35 million viewers.

In book news, it looks like the Vampire Diaries are really rocking those bestseller lists. They’re at #2, #3 and #6 on the Barnes & Noble teen bestsellers list, and #13, #14 and #23 on the Amazon Teens bestsellers. Thanks @1Sjes and @AprilRoxX for that information!

Finally, if you’re interested in learning some more about myself and Vee along with some of our thoughts on The Vampire Diaries, you can head on over to read an interview with us over on Innsmouth Press that we took part in for their Vampire Diaries week. Be warned, the interview is full of bookish spoilers. And shoes.

yay! I’m glad you guys are getting some limelight! Your work on the site is AMAZING and I’m glad you’re getting recognition! The wait for the tv show was only doable because I could check in on this site and get new info/ spoilers to try to maintain a healthy level of excitement, haha! Keep up the good work, I think someone high up should arrange a meet and greet with all the cast and workers of the show with you guys, to thank you for all your work :)

    Thanks for all you do!

Red, we are so old. I actually remember watching The Little Vampire when I was a child.

    No problem ;) 1sjes here.

Nina Dobrev folding her arms in these pics does give some attitude I have to say :) In these next sets of episodes, I am REALLY looking forward to the flashback episodes the most.

You’re really sweet, thanks. :) But it’s not about us – it’s about YOU GUYS and having a kick-ass good time watching what emerges onscreen. I think that’s more than enough thanks for all Vampire Diaries fans.

Shhh! Spoiler tags! ;) Francher Place (or some incarnation thereof) was my first thought, too.

  • rena

eh I didn’t figure I needed spoiler tags for just that dropping, people that knew the reference would get it, other’s would be wtf-ing my comment.
