The American Red Cross has posted a few pictures (courtesy of the CW) from the Georgia Tech blood drive this past Wednesday in their Flickr. Steven R. McQueen, Kayla Ewell, Michael Trevino, and Ian Somerhalder are featured. You can click the picture to go to the set.

Media Predict thinks The Vampire Diaries will be the CW’s first major hit since Gossip Girl.
A big thank you to serenachan for letting us know that the upcoming issue of TV Guide (Selena Gomez on cover) will have a “sneak peek” at Vampire Diaries.
Reel Artsy has a brief interview with Katerina Graham in which she talks about being bi-racial in Hollywood, how she’s learned to speak several languages, and The Vampire Diaries:
There hasn’t been that many Vampire Diaries billboards and stuff like that [in Atlanta] but apparently they’re like everywhere in New York and L.A. so the cast and I…we’re all very excited…we can’t wait to see them when we get back home.
And finally, L.J. Smith has updated her blog with a progress report on Shadow Souls, Strange Fate (Night World), and Midnight, the last volume in The Return trilogy. She also had this to say:
…the TV people (sounds like the title of a horror film) have been really, really nice to me lately, sharing news and Vampire Diaries (TV) clippings and I now stand behind the show. I’m hoping that everyone will give it a chance–the first episode being the hardest to get past if you’re not a Twilight fan. Or maybe if you are. Anyway, I’m asking that people be patient with it and see if it does turn out to be adorable.
Welcome back, Ms. Smith!

Huh, I didn’t know Katerina was bi-racial, that’s cool, so am I! :) I’m glad to see L.J. Smith is standing behind the show, I think it’s really important to have the author’s support. Emma(Quote)
