Conflicto - the Portuguese cover for The StruggleMany thanks to the people over at cronicasvampiricas.pt for sending us this! Part two of the Vampire Diaries, The Struggle has now been released in Portugal. Titled as Conflicto, it comes with a brand new cover. You click on the image to see a larger version.

Hopefully we’ll have dates soon for when the Portuguese versions of The Fury and Dark Reunion will be published. And don’t think we can’t hear you cover collectors cursing about spending more money at the back there! ;)

If you know of any publication dates for the Vampire Diaries that we’re not aware of, please let us know!

    Hi there!

Thank you for this post! We are actually very excited about our covers here in Portugal. Well, not as hot as the CW banners, but, give us time, we’ll get there :)

Who’s in the cover? They don’t look like anyone from the books.

At a guess it’s meant to represent Stefan and Elena in some way, though it might be none of the characters. It’s not unknown for these covers to be unrelated to the books for the most part. The Russian TVD covers are a great example of this. ;)

I guess they just represent love… just love…
