Not sure how this snuck past us, but looks like all four volumes of the original Vampire Diaries series – The Awakening, The Struggle, The Fury and Dark Reunion – were released on audio book on October 27th, with The Return: Nightfall following…today! All volumes are unabridged, narrated by actor Rebecca Mozo, and available for purchase on Audible.com or iTunes. You can find direct links for purchase below (Nightfall not yet available through iTunes). Check out the covers below or in the Gallery.

And Red would like you all to know – being of the British persuasion and all – that it’s been officially confirmed that ITV2 will begin airing The Vampire Diaries in the U.K. this January, rather than just a nebulous “2010.” Which he already figured, but now it’s all OFFICIAL and stuff, which means he can now sip his cuppa and stop making snooty comments. Huzzah!

Ooh, audiobooks. I saw something about the first three Night World books having audiobooks on their way as well.

Have you guys seen the TV covers for The Fury and Dark Reunion yet? I spotted them in the HarperCollins catalog the other day.
