We get a lot of questions about things that have easy answers, so please check the list below to make sure your answer isn’t here before you contact us.

Will there be a Season 3? When will Season 3 air?
Season 3 starts Thursday, Spetember 15, 2011 at 8/7c.

Do you know when the cast will be doing signing tours? Can they come to my city/country?
As soon as we hear about tours, we post them on the blog. The ‘cast appearances’ tag is a useful one to search. The cast are also extremely busy filming the show and promoting it within just the US. They would likely love to visit your country, but finding the time can be very difficult. They also go where they are scheduled by Warner Bros. and the CW Network. They often do not have control over those arrangements. If you want the cast to come to your city, you should write the WB and the CW.

Will you affiliate with our site?
Sorry, but no. We get A LOT of requests for this, and there’s just no way to keep up with them all. We restrict affiliation to partner sites, which are people we work closely with or run projects with.

Will couple X/Y get together in the books or the TV series?
We don’t know. We’re as in the dark as you are, and we’ll just have to wait and see what L.J. Smith, Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec have in store for us.

Where is the show filmed?
The series shoots in and around Atlanta, Georgia.

Did L.J. Smith rip off Stephenie Meyer?
Twilight was published in 2005. The Vampire Diaries was published in 1991. You can do the math.

Why is Meredith missing in the TV pilot?
According to executive producers/writers Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson, Meredith will indeed be part of the TV series. She’s not in the pilot for plot reasons. And no, we don’t know if they have someone in mind for the role.

Why isn’t Nina Dobrev blonde?
Because she’s not?
