What’s this all about?
Vampire-Diaries.net is a fansite dedicated to L.J. Smith’s series, The Vampire Diaries. You can find a range of news, information, and spoilers related to the series on this site for the books and the TV show. Keep an eye out for new things being added all the time.

Is this site affiliated with L.J. Smith or the TV show?
No, we are not connected with L.J. Smith – or HarperCollins, Alloy Entertainment, the CW Network, Warner Bros., CBS Television Studios, Outerbanks Entertainment, Bonanza Productions, or the cast and crew of The Vampire Diaries TV series. This site is run by fans.

Who runs this site?
Vampire-Diaries.net was founded in February 2009 by three long-time fans of The Vampire Diaries: Red, founder and maintainer of Twilight Tales, the longest-running and largest L.J. Smith fanworks archive online; Incanto, maintainer of The Devil’s Playground discussion forums, part of Night World: Circle Daybreak; and Vee. Red, a Brit, and Vee, an American, are its current maintainers.

How can I contact the staff of Vampire-Diaries.net?
Why, through our Contact page, of course. You can also @ us on Twitter or message us through MySpace.

May I repost your article/scan/etc.?
We ask that articles are not reposted in full. Excerpting and linking back to us is fine. As for photos/scans, please feel free to repost elsewhere (unless we specifically state otherwise), but please do credit the original source and where you found it – vampire-diaries.net.

Do you accept guest post submissions?
We’re certainly open to unsolicited guest posts, just understand that it’s all glory, no pay. If you’d like to submit a guest post, you can contact us. We can’t guarantee your article will run on the site but we promise we’ll consider everything submitted.

Can I send you my audition tape/head shot?
Again, we are a fansite and connected in no way with the TV production. Sending us your info will do you no good. If you’re interested in auditioning for the show, you’ll have to do your own research and keep an eye on casting calls.

Got a question not answered here? Ask us and we’ll get back to you.
