We had not one but two Vampire Diaries cast members hitting the late night talk show circuit last night. Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder were both hyping tonight’s Season 3 finale (which you’re all going to tune in to, right? RIGHT?).
Here it is: The last producer’s preview of Vampire Diaries Season 3. Julie Plec gives us a peek into The Departed (EP322), tomorrow night’s season finale.
Spoiler alert! This week’s TV Guide Vampire Diaries Bite teases Elena’s choice of Salvatores (don’t worry, they don’t actually say) and addresses the issue of who might be getting a smooch. While there’s no outright revelations, there are some pretty strong hints. Remember, there might be some misdirection going on here, we’ve all been tricked before!
Previously on The Vampire Diaries, Klaus showed off his Original Dodgeball skills, the Board of Education would like a word with Mr. Saltzman about appropriate classroom behavior and everybody failed first aid. The Departed (EP322) airs tomorrow night, so this is your last chance to get caught up before the curtain comes down on season 3.
We’re a little late with this, apologies, but The VRO is already a week into their annual Vampire Diaries Month of May – a solid month of Vampire Diaries cast and guest star interviews on BlogTalkRadio.
Tonight, May 8th, Susan Walters (Carol Lockwood) kicks things off at 8pm and Steven R. McQueen calls in at 9pm to chat about Season 3 and Jeremy Gilbert.
Here’s who has already stopped by, just to catch you up (all interviews are available to listen to in full):
- May 2nd: Persia White (Abby Bennett)
- May 2nd: Robert Ri’chard (Jamie)
- May 7th: Alice Evans (Esther)
- May 7th: Marguerite MacIntyre (Sheriff Forbes)
All upcoming scheduled interviews (and we have it on good authority more are coming and to be announced, so follow @TheVRO for the latest!):
- May 8th, 8pm ET: Susan Walters (Carol Lockwood)
- May 8th, 9pm ET: Steven R. McQueen (Jeremy Gilbert)
- May 14th, 8pm ET: Casper Zafer (Finn)
UPDATE: The VRO has just announced that TVD Executive Producer Julie Plec will be a guest on Friday, May 11th.
There’s a lot of talk about what’s ahead for different characters now that The Vampire Diaries has been renewed for a 4th season. What’s in store for the Original Hybrid? Joseph Morgan tells 24 Hours Vancouver that he doesn’t want to turn in his fangs just yet.
“I’m not ready to be done with the character yet. I hope he’s sticking around for a little while, but that’s really up to (the producers).”
If you’re not afraid of spoilers for Before Sunset, EP321, READ THE REST AT 24 HOURS VANCOUVER. Big thanks to @Shirarose1 for the heads up on this one!
Steven R. McQueen is dropping hints and teases all over this interview with Young Hollywood, so watch out for spoilers! He answers questions about what he’d like for Jeremy in season 4, his thoughts on a Bonnie and Jeremy reunion and what scares him in real life. Adorably, Steven also proves that he doesn’t share his character’s habit of misplacing dogs, buddy Max is right there sharing the interview couch. Awwww.
The end of Season 3 is nearly upon us! And this penultimate episode kept up last season’s tradition of giving us a heart-stopper before the finale.
I was feeling a wee bit disgruntled after Do Not Go Gentle, so thank the TVD gods for Before Sunset. Right from the Civil War imagery in the opening sequence through the rest of the masterful cold open, it was crystal clear that we were in for some top-notch Vampire Diaries. SPOILERS! CONTINUE READING “STRENGTH IN NUMBERS.”
Cambio.com caught up with Candice Accola at Elle Magazine’s “Women In Music” event, and took advantage of the moment to ask her about the Vampire Diaries season finale. Mild spoilers!
As if we weren’t all nervous enough, Candice describes reading the script as “sad” and “stressful”, and then says that she thinks the fans will be very happy. Wait, what?! Looks like we’d better be ready for anything -or everything!- come Thursday.
On how he got interested:
“I met this little boy who just broke my heart because I could see there was a fragility in the child,” he explains. “We had to be careful playing with him and he had to wear a crash-helmet. He’s an adorable boy. Of course, naturally I inquired about his health and condition, just to learn about the disease.”
And on the Vampire Diaries front, Daniel confirms whether or not he’ll be back for this week’s finale, about which he says:
“[The episode is] just going to rock the foundation of the fandom. It’s stunning what the writers have done. I love what Julie Plec has done. I’m as eager as the fans to see how it evolves. It’s deeply tragic. You can expect some tragedy. That’s all I can really say. Whatever’s happening with this group of people is about to be changed forever.”
