We live-RTed many of the critics in attendance and we’re collecting some of the commentary here. (And be jealous of the nifty planners the CW handed our, featuring network characters/quotes.)

Alas, Supernatural snagged both the Favorite Network TV Drama and Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show, and Favorite TV Drama Actor went to Nathan Fillion. On the other hand, big congratulations are in order for Nina Dobrev, who took home the award for Favorite TV Drama Actress! Since she was also the first write-in nominee ever to make the ballot, that’s a pretty big deal. Way to go, fandom! Congratulations, Nina! Thanks to Nina Dobrev Network for the video clip.
Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley (looking fantastic!) presented the award for Favorite Comedy Movie. Hopefully video will surface later. UPDATED: Thanks to Nina Dobrev Network for video!

Vampire Diaries cast and crew members turned out to support the event and help raise awareness of the desperate need for clean water in Africa and around the world. Julie Plec, Nina Dobrev, Michael Trevino, Arielle Kebbel, and Bianca Lawson all attended the event, and while we haven’t seen a picture of Kevin Williamson yet, he was tweeting about Kat’s speech.

The Hollywood Reporter caught up with Paul Wesley on last weekend’s Scream Awards black carpet to ask why he thinks The Vampire Diaries failed to be nominated for any Scream awards this year. And guess what? HE DOESN’T KNOW WHY THEY WEREN’T NOMINATED EITHER. (Sorry, we’re a little bitter. What/who do we have to sacrifice around here?)
