Way back in November, during the mid-season hiatus, we asked you to pick your favorite episodes of The Vampire Diaries Season 3 (so far). There were only nine episodes to pick from (Homecoming, Ordinary People and The Reckoning took top honors), so we think it’s finally time to look back at the season as a whole. Klaus just needs a hug, Stefan doesn’t have a blood addiction problem, and Alaric hates the Mystic Grill bar …and if you believe that, the Mayor of Mystic Falls has a bridge she’d like to sell you. Needs a little bit of reconstruction on it, nothing that the entire town getting together to make an Event of can’t fix.

Sneaky, sexy, scary and sad, this episode hit a lot of different notes in a short amount of time. Continuing her press rounds, Candice Accola chatted with the Huffington Post about Tyler, Klaus, Stefan and more, but also dropped this tidbit about tonight’s episode, Break On Through:

“Caroline and Alaric really haven’t had that many scenes together, and the scenes that they do have together have always been within a plan, as they both help out in the bigger scheme of things,” Accola told HuffPost TV. “We’ll finally see them talk one-on-one at this point, and we’ll see if that goes well or if it doesn’t.”
