Need some more things to keep you occupied this afternoon? Okay! Head over to Zap2it to read what Candice Accola and Joseph Morgan have to say about what’s coming up for their characters and whether Caroline will ever change her mind about Klaus. (Warning: The article is a little spoilery, though what we’re quoting is not.)
“I think that everyone has a dark side,” Candice says. “And I’m not just quoting Kelly Clarkson’s song… but it’s true. Especially in young relationships, you do compromise yourself, and you do compromise your thoughts and your morals and your beliefs, and not just pertaining to young relationships, but I think that’s more common in young relationships. I don’t know if I necessarily see Klaus compromising too much… I think there’s definitely a possibility that we could see Caroline compromise herself for a relationship.”
And then visit TheTelevixen.com for the first two installments of their “Take 5 with The Vampire Diaries” series, with five questions for Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley.
Last but not least, go tell Give Me My Remote about your premiere-watching plans and enter to win a CW Thursday Night Swag Pack full of Vampire Diaries and Beauty and the Beast goodies.

The CW has started filtering out these AWESOME new Season 4 promo pics and we’re going to start with Caroline, Tyler, and Klaus. Seriously, the detail on these portraits – we’re going to be analyzing them for hours. Can’t wait to see the rest of the set! The Vampire Diaries returns this Thursday, October 11th, 8/7c on the CW. Click each image to view a larger version in the Gallery. What do you think? Does this hold up to last year’s fruit portraits?

Loose n’ dirty translation of the Latin on each portrait, Klaus – Blood is power, Caroline – Love is sacrifice, Tyler – Love has/holds me. (This could be in the sense of “love carries me” or “love possesses me” . . . interesting.)

Zap2it caught up with Candice Accola at the CW upfronts to get her take on the Klaus/Tyler situation, Elena’s transformation, and what she thinks might be coming up in season four.
“I don’t know what the theme yet is for next season. Last year I knew that it was going to be the year of the originals, but… if I had to guesstimate, and I’m totally blowing smoke here, but what’s going to be the straw that breaks the camel’s back?”
