Zap2it caught up with Candice Accola at the CW upfronts to get her take on the Klaus/Tyler situation, Elena’s transformation, and what she thinks might be coming up in season four.
“I don’t know what the theme yet is for next season. Last year I knew that it was going to be the year of the originals, but… if I had to guesstimate, and I’m totally blowing smoke here, but what’s going to be the straw that breaks the camel’s back?”
Watch the whole interview:
Hollywood Life caught up with Steven R. McQueen on the green carpet recently and asked him what he thinks might be coming up for Jeremy in season 4. Will Jeremy and Bonnie rekindle their romance? Will we see more scenes between Jeremy and Matt? Steven also gives some insight into how Jeremy may be reacting to his family situation as it was left in the finale. Spoilers for The Departed (EP322).
Zap2it spoke with Ian Somerhalder at the same event, to ask about his reaction to events in the finale (spoilers!). While he does do a little teasing, the actor is looking toward the bright side for next season.
“Here’s the good thing: he’s not pining for her, he’s not pining for Katherine, so maybe we’ll get some of that Season 1 Damon back,” he says.
Ian also talks about some of his off-screen work and projects he has going on right now, READ MORE AND WATCH THE VIDEO AT ZAP2IT.
Want to know how the Vampire Diaries cast felt when they read the season finale? TV Guide asked the actors about their reactions to reading that script, and about their hopes for their characters going into season 4. Spoilers galore for The Departed (EP322).

AOL TV Squad‘s Jean Bentley has more from her video interview with Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, and Ian Somerhalder at the CW Upfront and this time they’re theorizing about what lies in store for their characters in Season 3…and whether Mystic Falls has a strip club? (Don’t worry, there’s more.)
Candice Accola and Steven R. McQueen were part of the CW’s 2011 Upfront presentation in Chicago yesterday and the Chicago Tribune’s Show Patrol sat them down for a nice (10 minute!) video interview. They talk about the last two episodes of The Vampire Diaries Season 2, Sara Canning and David Anders, and where Jeremy and Caroline may be heading in Season 3.
Zap2It chatted with Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, and Paul Wesley on yesterday’s CW Upfront red carpet to look back on the big moments of the Vampire Diaries Season 2 finale, specifically That Kiss and Stefan’s dark, uncertain future in the hands of Klaus:
Paul has always been a big fan of the dark side of Stefan. “I’m cautiously optimistic that Season 3 maintains that,” Paul says. “I don’t know what’s going to happen because they don’t tell us anything. I hope he doesn’t turn good, you know, episode two he’s like ‘Ah, what am I doing? Elena!’ and he starts crying.”
And E!Online also caught up with the TVD trio on the red carpet:
The CW are using some new images from their more recent promotional photoshoot (which is all shades of awesome, so it’s fantastic to see more) to advertise season 3 with the summary released during today’s CW Upfronts. Click on the thumbnails for access to the much larger versions in our gallery!
