For those of you who were dying for spoilers after the screening of “A Few Good Men” at Paley this weekend, TV Guide’s Megabuzz has some teasers for events that will be coming up in the Vampire Diaries.

Did Damon really kill Elena’s birth mother on The Vampire Diaries? I can’t help but feel like there’s more to this story. — Taryn
MICKEY: Well, yeah. When Diaries returns on March 25, we’ll learn once and for all who killed Isobel, and why. But you might be more interested in another shocking murder that takes place this spring. Don’t grieve too much for the victim; he or she will be miraculously brought back to life shortly thereafter. (For the record, we aren’t talking about a vampire “turning” here — he or she will really be alive again.)

Thanks to KryptonSite for confirming the title of episode 16: There Goes the Neighborhood.

Jen over at Nina Dobrev Fan has some scans of Nina Dobrev and Candice Accola, who were featured in NYLON Guys back in December, and she’s been awesome enough to share them with us.

And Seventeen has an interview with Katerina Graham up on their website.

17: How are you most like Bonnie?
KG: I’m really like Bonnie in terms of the relationship she has with her friends. She’s protective over her friend Elena, and the real-life relationship between Nina [Dobrev] and myself is the same; I would do anything for her, we’re really close. Bonnie is caring, and she’s compassionate, and she’s very much like me in that way.

Michael Ausiello has a teaser picture of David Anders guest starring as Elena and Jeremy’s uncle Jonathan. According to the article, even Jonathan has his own agenda for coming back to Mystic Falls.

The Alias and Heroes alum makes his debut in the April 15 episode when it comes time for Elena and Jeremy to sell their father’s doctor office. “He has to sign the escrow papers but he isn’t quite ready to give the office up,” explains fellow e.p., Kevin Williamson. “But like everyone else in town, he’s there for something [else]. His intentions are not pure.”

Looks like Damon has scared anyone off who might be planning to visit Mystic Falls for fun. ;)

According to TV Guide Magazine, actress Spencer Locke has been cast as Amber Bradley, a beauty pageant contestant who will turn up in a late-April episode titled “Miss Mystic Falls”.

We already knew Paul Wesley was attending, but now Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev have also been added to the Australia Vampire Diaries event being held by Hub Productions in Sydney and Melbourne in July.

Finally, TV Guide Magazine spoke with the Vampire Diaries gang on the red carpet at PaleyFest, and have posted video for you to enjoy containing that, along with some snippets from the panel itself.

Elena GilbertThe ratings for “Bloodlines” are in, with the episode being watched by 3.7 million viewers. From TV By the Numbers:

The return after an extremely long hiatus wasn’t kind to Vampire Diaries as its 1.6 for adults 18-49 may have tied a series low (checking now) in that demo. Supernatural fared better, its 1.3 adults 18-49 rating was slightly above its season average for new episodes. In the CW target demo, Vampire Diaries scored a 2.5 rating for women 18-34, tied for second in the timeslot.

And on the subject of “Bloodlines”, the episode is now available to download from Amazon if you’re in the USA. Fans in the UK can also download it from iTunes.

We’ve got a title for episode 15 of the Vampire Diaries, which will be called “A Few Good Men”. I don’t know about you, but it puts the strangest image in my head of Damon and Tom Cruise’s Lestat going head to head in a Mystic Falls court room.

There are some more spoilers zinging around about what we can expect for the second half of the season. Ausiello has a little spoiler about who Damon is going to hook up with next, while E!’s Kristin has some snippets from Julie Plec, Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley and Nina Dobrev on subjects such as the love triangle, Damon’s phenomenal kissing ability and what’s in store for Elena (aside from potentially being knocked out with a kiss from Damon).

The Hot Topic cast tour is under way in Atlanta, and the cast are currently signing autographs. While fans weren’t allowed to take cameras in, both Nina Dobrev and Michael Trevino tweeted some pictures for the fans. Nina’s photo shows her fellow cast mates to be a nice, normal bunch, while Michael seems to inspire them to display a little more insanity. ;) The Q&A session will be taking place shortly.

Finally, while Ella was visiting the set yesterday, Nina informed her that she’s NOT going to be at the Insurgence: Bloodlines convention in the UK in March. We’ve contacted Rogue Events to find out what’s going on there, and will let you know if we hear anything.

Tyler LockwoodIn typical Thursday tradition, the news likes to attack us while we prepare for the next episode of the Vampire Diaries airing. This is also a pretty spoiler-heavy post, so we apologise in advance for looking like someone blacked-out a government document with coffee. ;)

First up, episode 14 has a title – Fool Me Once! – and was written by newcomer to the Vampire Diaries, Brett Conrad, and directed by Marcos Siega. We also have a synopsis, courtesy of KryptonSite’s Vampire Diaries site.

SECRETS OF THE TOMB — Stefan helps Elena and Bonnie out of a dangerous situation. Jeremy asks Anna to a party in the woods, unaware that she has her own reasons for wanting to meet him there. When Stefan, Damon and Elena work with Bonnie and Grams to open the tomb, everyone is shocked by what they discover.

There was a lot of interesting information revealed at the Vampire Diaries TCA panel earlier this month, but Fancast have revealed that there are a couple more little tidbits that are interesting in their own right, but even more interesting to fans of the books. You can read the whole thing over at Fancast, but we’re going to highlight the interesting spoilers here:

On Tyler:

All the speculation about Ty is right. Says Williamson, “If you read the books you know the character that has the curse. And it’s a repressed curse triggered by one particular activity that hasn’t happened yet. Its no secret its Tyler, and as we reveal the full moon and his aggression issues, we’ll let him explore his anger issues, his Daddy issues.”

Founders Day:

Damon will continue his attempts to resurrect Katherine. Williamson reveals, “We’re building towards the Founders Day celebration and the 150th anniversary of this town. It’s a happy little party but then there’s this tomb business to deal with, and there’s 26 vampires down there. The whole back nine focuses on that tomb.”

As if we weren’t excited enough already with “Bloodlines” tonight and the next few episodes, now we have this to keep our minds spinning with the possibilities. ;)

The Vampire Diaries TV SeriesFirst up, a reminder: Michael Trevino will be guesting on Buzzworthy Radio tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET. The call-in number is (646) 595-4228. Jasmine Guy will be on Stardish Radio 8 p.m. ET, and that call-in number is (347) 945-5423. They’ll both be answering fan questions, so start thinking of what you want to know about Tyler and Grams – maybe there will be some goodies, eh?

Friday Night Bites is now available for your viewing pleasure on the official CW Vampire Diaries page. (USA only.)

We have a title for episode 8 (#107) – you can check it out in the Episode Index. The episode is written by Barbie Kligman and Gabrielle Stanton, and stepping in for directing duties this time around is Rick Bota. Bota’s credits include Jericho, Raising the Bar, and Close to Home.

Seems Logan isn’t the only Fell hanging around Mystic Falls – we have a Franklin Fell making an appearance, played by Jackson Walker. We’re not sure of his relation to Logan, but there be Fells! That sound you hear is our squee button being pushed – even though the Animal Control van is always there to remind us not to get too attached to various characters. “Anyone, anytime, anyplace” – right?
