Zap2It’s Carina MacKenzie is teasing us with another sneak peek at her Vampire Diaries interview videos. This time it’s the turn of Nina Dobrev, and to make a nice change, the conversation is focusing on Elena rather than the return of Katherine to Mystic Falls. Head on over to the Zap2It website to watch the video and read the article.

The titles for episodes 2, 3 and 4 of the Vampire Diaries have been announced: Brave New World, Bad Moon Rising, and Memory Lane (no prizes for guessing what that episode will involve…). And speaking of Brave New World, we have a couple of episode stills from that episode – and more from The Return – for you courtesy of the lovely people at Vampire Diaries Web.

The Vampire Diaries TV SeriesWe see trouble on the way… Late last night/early this morning, Michael Trevino posted an eerie shot of the woods, along with what we’re pretty sure is confirmation that Season 2′s third episode is titled Bad Moon Rising. He definitely confirmed the ep’s director, Patrick Norris, who has worked on Friday Night Lights, Chuck, and Gossip Girl, amongst many other shows.

As far as we can tell, this new Season 2 footage was included in the CW’s preview program of its upcoming show roster. It’s a rollercoaster ride of a 20 seconds, so hang on tight. Thanks to The Vampire Diaries: Blood Falls.

Ian Somerhalder tweeted a picture of the cover of his script at the first season two table reading today, revealing the title of the first episode (premiering on September 9). In a cheeky reference to L.J. Smith’s new Vampire Diaries book trilogy (along with it being appropriate to the TV series for oh-so-many reasons), the episode is titled… The Return.

XX

Is it September yet? No? Dammit.

Thanks to @serialstvcom for tweeting this at us – AOL Television is listing a title and brief summary for episode 21. Since this comes on the heels of last night’s spoiler-tastic @LilMissX episode still, we’re inclined to think it’s legit, but don’t take it as gospel until there’s confirmation from other sources. We’re throwing both the title and the one-line summary under a spoiler block, so highlight to read.

UPDATE: Title is now confirmed as legit.

Title: Isobel
Summary: Alaric is stunned when Isobel returns to town and demands a meeting with Elena.

The Vampire Diaries TV SeriesOn the heels of episode 18′s title being released, we now have a title/synopsis for episode 17 – and, speaking personally, it’s a brilliant shout-out to an equally brilliant vampire book/film: Let the Right One In. (If you haven’t read or seen the Swedish vampire tale Let the Right One In, get on yer Kindle/NetFlix and remedy that immediately.) And here’s the synopsis (highlight to read or head over to the Episode Index):

STEFAN IS FORCED TO MAKE A FRIGHTENING DECISION – When Stefan and Damon make a dangerous new enemy, Stefan suddenly finds himself in a perilous situation. Damon and Elena try to convince Alaric to work with them to help Stefan. Matt is hopeful that his mom, Kelly, may be back to stay. After her car breaks down in a storm, Caroline makes a horrific discovery that shocks everyone in town.

The episode is written by Julie Plec off a story by Brian Young, and directed by Dennis Smith. Thanks to SpoilerTV for the heads up.

As a side note, how bizarre is it that there are now only three Vampire Diaries episode titles left to discover? This season has flown!

For those of you who were dying for spoilers after the screening of “A Few Good Men” at Paley this weekend, TV Guide’s Megabuzz has some teasers for events that will be coming up in the Vampire Diaries.

Did Damon really kill Elena’s birth mother on The Vampire Diaries? I can’t help but feel like there’s more to this story. — Taryn
MICKEY: Well, yeah. When Diaries returns on March 25, we’ll learn once and for all who killed Isobel, and why. But you might be more interested in another shocking murder that takes place this spring. Don’t grieve too much for the victim; he or she will be miraculously brought back to life shortly thereafter. (For the record, we aren’t talking about a vampire “turning” here — he or she will really be alive again.)

Thanks to KryptonSite for confirming the title of episode 16: There Goes the Neighborhood.

Jen over at Nina Dobrev Fan has some scans of Nina Dobrev and Candice Accola, who were featured in NYLON Guys back in December, and she’s been awesome enough to share them with us.

And Seventeen has an interview with Katerina Graham up on their website.

17: How are you most like Bonnie?
KG: I’m really like Bonnie in terms of the relationship she has with her friends. She’s protective over her friend Elena, and the real-life relationship between Nina [Dobrev] and myself is the same; I would do anything for her, we’re really close. Bonnie is caring, and she’s compassionate, and she’s very much like me in that way.
