Here’s the CW’s extended promo for the next new episode of The Vampire Diaries – Paul Wesley’s directorial debut, Resident Evil (EP518) – which will air on Thursday, April 17th at 8/7c.
The bad news: we don’t get a new episode of The Vampire Diaries for three weeks. The good news: the next episode is directed by Paul Wesley! Here’s a promo for Resident Evil (EP518), which will air on Thursday, April 17th at 8/7c.
Candice Accola chats with Entertainment Weekly about tonight’s episode The Vampire Diaries, including touching on a few points raised at this past weekend’s PaleyFest festival.
Paul [Wesley] got his say at PaleyFest when he mentioned how he’d like to see [Stefan and Caroline] take that next step and maybe make things romantic, but personally, would you want to see them go there?
Ever since season 2, when Stefan kind of took Caroline under his vampire wing and taught her how to behave like a good little vampire, there’s been a lot of viewers and fans in the Twitterverse expressing their hope of Steroline, I think they call it, to happen one day. So there’s definitely been speculation and some build up, and it would definitely be a bold choice for both of them to engage in any sort of romantic relationship given the friendship of Caroline and Elena and the history between Elena and Stefan. And so you never know what can happen in the future between these two characters, but I imagine it being very dramatic if anything were to happen.
THIS POST IS A STICKY. KEEP SCROLLING FOR NEW POSTS.
We already knew that if you kill a doppelganger off another one eventually takes its place, but with the speed they’re cropping up lately, they could give the Hydra a run for its money. While Caroline and Enzo are off investigating mythical beings, Damon and Elena are getting on with more mundane things by attending Jeremy’s parent-teacher conference. We’re pretty sure they’d prefer to face the Hydra.
Unfortunately, there’s a hiatus for 3 weeks after this episode, and the next episode of The Vampire Diaries won’t be until Thursday, 17th April. We know, hiatuses suck. If we could make them go away, we would.
Once you’ve finished watching and shaken yourself back to reality, swing by here to rate the new episode of The Vampire Diaries. All discussion about the episode is welcomed and encouraged in the comments of this post.
Quick guide to the poll: 5 Points = LOVE, 1 Point = MEH.

THE FEAST OF THE BLESSINGS — Genevieve (guest star Elyse Levesque) asks Elijah (Daniel Gillies) to allow her coven to publicly celebrate a traditional feast day, where members of the community offer the witches gifts in return for blessings.
