Kat Graham has done several interviews in advance of tonight’s new episode, Catch Me If You Can (EP411). First, at ETonline, Kat talks a bit about the introduction of Bonnie’s father but then gets into her character’s overall arc:
So much crazy Bonnie stuff is coming up. I’m excited that, if Bonnie makes any turn as to who she is and what she’s about, I’m excited to know that a lot of fans will come with her. I’m excited for them to grow with Bonnie and excited for them to see what Bonnie can do. For so long, this was a character who was never at her full power. She was always losing it and then getting some of it back … she’s struggled with finding herself as a witch and finding herself in her power.

And at Hollywood Life, Kat discusses Bonnie and Jeremy:
I think their relationship is still healing, and Bonnie’s starting to trust him again. She’s going to need someone more than ever, a partner in crime. I can also say her love was never lost for him. She never really got over it.

As if tonight’s season premiere wasn’t enough, Entertainment Weekly has revealed the first glimpse of Klaus and Elijah in 12th century garb (and hair!). In the accompanying video, costume designer Leigh Leverett talks about her style choices, and which character’s look was deliberately altered a bit from the period norm.
“I look at research from the period and find the best styles… that I think fit our show,” Leverett says about the three costumes she created for the episode. “We actually built all of this in our tailor shop.”

Need something to distract you until tomorrow night’s premiere? Paul Wesley is over at Young Hollywood playing a fun Vampire or Werewolf? game – and, oh yeah, talking about season four:
And over at Entertainment Weekly, Ian Somerhalder talks about the love triangle and how Damon will deal with Elena’s transition:
“There is some stuff that is going to come up this season that I think fans will get a little bit of joy out of,” said Ian Somerhalder, who explained that the love triangle still has a ways to go. “There is a scene [where] Damon pushes [Elena's] buttons a little bit and kind of starts undressing in front of her [and] that throws her for a loop. It was pretty cute.”

Meanwhile, at Hollywood Life, Torrey DeVitto talks about what’s coming up for Meredith:
“I think you’ll see a bond grow between Damon and Meredith. It’s cool because he’s this erratic character, and she really holds her ground with him and with all the other characters. She’s strong-minded and doesn’t put up with his bulls**t. So deep down, whether he acknowledges it or not, he admires that about her. That’s how their friendship begins, really.”

Hollywood Life caught up with Steven R. McQueen on the green carpet recently and asked him what he thinks might be coming up for Jeremy in season 4. Will Jeremy and Bonnie rekindle their romance? Will we see more scenes between Jeremy and Matt? Steven also gives some insight into how Jeremy may be reacting to his family situation as it was left in the finale. Spoilers for The Departed (EP322).
Zap2it spoke with Ian Somerhalder at the same event, to ask about his reaction to events in the finale (spoilers!). While he does do a little teasing, the actor is looking toward the bright side for next season.
“Here’s the good thing: he’s not pining for her, he’s not pining for Katherine, so maybe we’ll get some of that Season 1 Damon back,” he says.
Ian also talks about some of his off-screen work and projects he has going on right now, READ MORE AND WATCH THE VIDEO AT ZAP2IT.

Looks like Bonnie is back in action in this week’s episode of The Vampire Diaries, and that pretty much goes hand in hand with being back in danger, too. Hollywood Life spoke with Robert Ri’chard recently, and he offers a few hints about what’s in store (spoiler!) for Bonnie and Jamie, and how Jeremy might be affected by it all.
“Jamie is with her throughout the entire episode,” Robert tells me. “She’s protecting him, but he’s also protecting her. When you have that dynamic, where both people are looking out for each other, they’re bound to be drawn together romantically. We see that unfold in this episode.”

Meanwhile, TV Guide is giving a sneak peek at finale episodes, including TVD’s The Departed (EP322). They’ve posted a few new teasers about it, but beware of spoilers! Also, don’t be fooled by the picture. It comes from The Murder Of One (EP318) and is not a new image from the season finale.

To help you get ready for tomorrow’s episode, TVLine has an interview with Paul Wesley in which he discusses whether Stefan/Elena fans should have hope and Stefan’s fundamental instability:
“I don’t think Stefan is going to, you know, go back to ripping off heads and being maniacally out of control anytime soon, but I don’t know. That’s one of the most important things about Stefan, that no matter how moderate he becomes and how stabilized he is, in supporting that as an actor, I always convey that sense of danger around the corner, that he could potentially bite somebody’s head off at any minute. That’s what makes him compelling and interesting and dynamic.”
And over at Hollywood Life, Candice Accola gives some scoop on the future of Caroline’s various friendships and relationships. Basically everything she says is spoilery for recent episodes, so we’re not going to risk quoting it, but you should definitely head over and check it out!

Zach Roerig has been a busy guy! Interviews with Zach are popping up everywhere, and you’ll notice we aren’t complaining! Watch out for spoilers, though, it’s a jungle out there today.
Our first interview comes from The Hollywood Reporter, and we really love the quote in the headline. This interview includes an answer to a question a lot of us wonder every week: why in the world do people stay in this crazy, dangerous town? Zach offers a thoughtful answer on his character’s behalf.
THR: What are Matt’s motives for sticking around?
Roerig: At this point, Matt really has nothing to lose. Yea, he can leave town, he can go somewhere else, but Mystic Falls is the only home he’s ever known. Matt’s the only person left in town who is pure in every sense of the word. I think he wants to make sure Mystic Falls doesn’t self-destruct.
Pure awesome, says Team Matt! CHECK OUT THE REST OF THE INTERVIEW HERE AT THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.
Hollywood Life had some different questions for Zach, including one about the friendship between Matt and Tyler.
So what about Matt and Tyler? Any chance their friendship will ever get back to what it once was?
“This is a very difficult time for Matt and Tyler. They’re always going to be friends, but Matt’s just now getting a handle on what he’s surrounded by. First Matt had to understand that Tyler was a werewolf, and how a hybrid. Matt’s always going to be understanding of Tyler’s problems, but I don’t think he’s going to trust him again.”
The last interview (at least for right now!) comes from The Vampire Diaries official Alloy Entertainment site. They interviewed the actor about tonight’s episode, Dangerous Liaisons, (EP314). We’re all pretty psyched to see everyone dressed to the nines, and Zach seems to think pretty well of the costumes himself.
TVD: Everyone looks amazing! What was it like shooting such a fancy episode –was there a different vibe on set?
Zach: Oh yea definitely! We were all carrying ourselves a bit differently – very, not stiff, but we all had a very good posture about us, everything seemed to flow. When we were walking it’s sort of a like [starts singing] “bada pom pom / bada pom pom.” [Laughs] We all took ballroom dancing lessons before we shot the episode so that was a blast. And, yea, there’s something about being in a fitted tux – it just kind of grabs you and transforms you.

There’s been a great deal of speculation about the mysterious Dr. Fell. Is she crazy? Is she evil? We just don’t know! There’s also a lot of interest in her relationship with a certain unlucky-in-love local high school teacher.
Torrey is much to savvy to be giving anything away, but the actress recently spoke with Andy Swift from Holllywood Life, and shared some thoughts on love, life and life expectancy in Mystic Falls.
“I think there’s consequences to every relationship on this show,” she admits. “There are so many components mess them up. It’s hard to maintain a normal, healthy relationship. But I think their relationship is building in a cool way. I like these characters together, I think they work really well. I’m always excited to see where they’re going next.”
Torrey has a lot more to say about her character, READ THE REST OF THE INTERVIEW AT HOLLYWOOD LIFE.
Speaking of complicated relationships: TV Fanatic interviewed Persia White about Abby and Bonnie, and she’s admits that the situation between the two Bennetts is far from ideal.
TV Fanatic: On “The Ties That Bind,” Abby said she’s enjoyed the past 15 years being a “woman,” as opposed to a “witch.” Can you elaborate on that? Will we be seeing or learning about anything else from the character’s past?
Persia White: Abby has a lot of making up for the past mistakes. Being a parent is a huge responsibility and the fact that she is a witch holds an even greater weight… we’ll learn more about her weakness and strengths as the episodes unfold.

If you haven’t seen last week’s episode (The Ties That Bind, EP312), then spoiler warnings apply to just about everything these days. This interview with Robert Ri’chard from Hollywood Life is no exception, so read at your own risk. While the actor doesn’t give too many details, he does talk about some things that happened last week, and gives some hints about what might be in store for his character and Bonnie. He also shares a bit about what it’s like to work on the show for the first time.
OK, first impressions — What was it like stepping onto the show as a newbie?
“It was a really well-run set, and at first, I was intimidated by the size of the show. Going onto a show that already has such a big following, every mom, every daughter, everyone I talked to was like, ‘Wow, you’re on a really big show.’ So I just decided I was going to go in and work hard and put out a really good performance. I think I felt more pressure on this than when I guest starred on, like, CSI: Miami.”

Tonight is Caroline’s birthday, and Candice Accola hints to Hollywood Life that it may not necessarily be the happiest of birthdays. In addition to her break-up with Tyler, seems a certain hybrid Original may soon come into play:
“Caroline and Klaus haven’t really had any interaction up to this point, but their paths will finally cross,” Candice tells HollywoodLife.com of Caroline’s big day. “He sired her boyfriend, and she’s pissed. But you can’t really get pissed at Klaus because he’s got the power to kill anyone and everyone.” (Gulp!)
