Don’t forget, the PaleyFest Vampire Diaries panel will be streaming live TONIGHT at 11:05 p.m. Eastern! You can use this livestream page to watch the panel as it unfolds. The panel guests will be Julie Plec, Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Candice Accola, Matt Davis, and Kat Graham. TV Guide Magazine Editor-in-Chief Debra Birnbaum will be moderating the panel.
UPDATE According to the Paley Center Twitter, the panel is actually starting at 11:05pm EST. We think there may be an episode screening in advance of the panel, which accounts for the conflicting times. Sorry about any confusion! If you’re looking for twitter coverage, our friends at @IHeartTVD will be tweeting live from the event.
UPDATE 2: If you missed the live panel, it will be available on HuluPlus on March 15th.

Ready for a flashback? This webclip from 1912 (EP316) is taking us back in time. Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley are both in this one, and there’s plenty of Salvatore family drama to go around. Big thanks to @xLuvDamonx for the heads up and Mil2aCle for the clip.
Updated to include the official CW video.

It’s giveaway time! We have SEVEN sets of Entertainment Weekly‘s recent Vampire Diaries issue for seven lucky fans of the international persuasion. (Sorry, U.S. and Canadian fans – we all had our shot at the newsstand!)
Each set contains all three Vampire Diaries covers, so (1) Paul and Nina, (1) Ian and Nina, and (1) Paul, Ian and Nina.
Seven winners will be chosen at random to win a set. Please be sure to read the rules listed below. You have until Monday, March 12th to enter.
A NOTE: Some of the magazines are subscriber copies, which means they have address labels in the bottom right-hand corner. We will be distributing amongst each of the sets, to be fair. Don’t worry – the labels don’t cover up anything important. (Heh.) And a HUGE thanks to long-time site follower Mary Ellen and V-D.net forum mod D’Ann for graciously donating towards this giveaway. Your fellow TVD fans are a generous lot – give them a big thanks in the comments!
RULES:
- This contest is open to non-U.S. and non-Canadian fans only.
- ONE ENTRY PER PERSON. Multiple entries will be disqualified. (Yes, we will be checking.)
- You must use the entry form at the bottom of this post to enter. Entries by blog comment, Twitter, Facebook, etc. will not count.
- Please be sure to include your FULL NAME (first and last), the email address that is best to reach you at, and complete mailing address.
- Contest closes at 11:59pm ET on Monday, March 12th.
- Winners will be notified by Monday, March 19th.

Well, we have good news and bad news. The bad news is that it looks like Ian Somerhalder will not be able to attend Creation Entertainment’s April event in Chicago as planned. The good news is that Creation has already announced three additional guests who will be appearing on Sunday.
Unfortunately we have been notified that due to professional commitments Ian Somerhalder is unable to attend this convention. While disappointed we are happy to say that we have three new guests booked for Sunday to replace Ian’s time with us: David Anders (John Gilbert), Kat Graham (Bonnie), and Malese Jow (Anna). Those with SEPARATE Ian autograph tickets or Ian photo ops or the duo Superstar Sandwich photo op please bring these printed out PDF tickets from your computer to registration and you will be issued with a voucher good for other tickets, autographs or photo ops or if you wish a refund for the amount(s) paid please send the VOUCHER (not the tickets) after the convention to Creation, 217 South Kenwood, Glendale, CA 91205 Attention: Ed for a refund to your credit card.
This brings the total attendee numbers to nine: Paul Wesley, Matt Davis, Daniel Gillies, Michael Trevino, Zach Roerig, Torrey DeVitto, David Anders, Kat Graham, and Malese Jow. For more information about which day each guest is scheduled to appear, visit Creation Entertainment’s website.
