Candice Accola has said that tomorrow night’s Do Not Go Gentle (EP320) is one of her favorite episodes, and in a new video interview at Give Me My Remote, she talks about why:
“We get to prove as actors that none of us are capable of dancing and saying our lines at the same time. . . . But it’s fun to see everyone all dressed up and come together.”
She also explains why she’s loved watching Caroline grow as a character.

Show-runner Julie Plec chatted with Entertainment Weekly about last week’s Vampire Diaries episode Heart of Darkness (EP319) – specifically about the most recent development in the Stefan/Elena/Damon triangle. She also has this to say about a certain sticky situation involving Rebekah and tomorrow night’s episode, Do Not Go Gentle (EP320):
[Julie Plec] doesn’t want to say too much, but she will tease this: ”That story line takes instantly a left turn right at the beginning of the episode. So everything everybody thinks they’re gonna see is actually different.

Want a little more intel on the upcoming Decade Dance? Candice Accola sat down with E!Online to discuss the dance and Caroline’s feelings about her potential suitors. (Warning: Spoilers through Heart of Darkness (EP319)!)
“The viewers see it as a love triangle and it’s definitely painted out to be [one], but from Caroline’s perspective it is very much Caroline and Tyler against this very big obstacle who just won’t back down.”
But Candice gets the Klaus appeal, too:
“I can see why viewers really like the idea of Klaus showing his softer side, and I think it ties back to Caroline in the first season saying, ‘Why don’t the boys ever choose me? I try so hard!’ And here finally, the boy chose her! It just so happens to be the mass-murdering, evil boy who is making an army of murderers! [Laughs.] Maybe not the ideal boy to have chasing after her, so I think it’s pretty funny. The boy’s got an accent, let’s be honest. And he draws very pretty pictures of Caroline with a horse, so if that doesn’t do it, I don’t know what will!”
She also discusses Stefan, Stelena, and more:

Here’s another interview with Claire Holt from the ISF Influence Affair, this time from Clevver TV. The actress answers some questions about her hopes for Rebekah (spoiler: she’d like to survive!), dressing up for prom and how she feels about the dynamic between Rebekah and Matt Donovan.
Socialite Life also interviewed Claire recently. She answered questions about what might be in store for the Originals, and specifically what will become of Rebekah and Damon’s volatile relationship since the events in Heart Of Darkness (EP319). If you haven’t seen that episode yet, the interview is very spoilery, so keep that in mind before you click!
What happens to Rebekah’s sordid relationship with Damon, now that he finally acted on his feelings for Elena?
I think like everyone else, Damon used Rebekah for his own gain and I think she’s aware of the fact that they’re doing that now [Damon and Elena]. You’ll definitely see some more of their relationship, whether it be good or bad, especially in the season finale. It’s going to be interesting. It was certainly fun to act with him.

Hybrid fans, rejoice: Tyler’s returning to the show very soon, and Zap2it spoke with Michael Trevino to get some scoop on his imminent return and what’s coming up for his character at the end of the season. Has he broken that sire bond? What’s going on between him and Caroline? Click through to find out, but beware of spoilers! Also: This will be Tyler’s first on-screen Mystic Falls dance!
“In the three seasons, for some reason or another, Tyler hasn’t been at any of these dances. He’s never there, so for me it was cool to finally be involved in that process,” Trevino says. “I got a whole different getup as far as my wardrobe, and it was the first time that I actually had dance rehearsal, on ‘The Vampire Diaries.’ I’ve never had to go through that drill, so it was kind of fun.”

The Insider‘s Jarett Wiselman sat down with Joseph Morgan to discuss what is being built up as possibly the biggest/most important Vampire Diaries season finale thus far (and a special mention of Do Not Go Gentle), what you’ll never see in Mystic Falls, and who Klaus would choose as a life-long companion if it came down to his sister or a potential lover.
