XXIt’s no surprise that Joseph Morgan is in high demand for interviews right now, between the goings-on with Klaus on The Vampire Diaries and the upcoming spinoff The Originals, there are a lot of questions begging for answers. Fortunately, E!Online, Zap2it and TVLine are all on the case, we’ve gathered the interviews up in a group for your reading pleasure.

First up, Joseph talks The Originals with E!Online.

Morgan teases that fans can expect the spinoff to be “a little more adult, a little more kind of gothic because these are old time Vampires here.”
And finally, he says, “It’s just so tremendously exciting for me, I’m so eager to get started on it. I really can’t wait, and I really hope people like it. I’m going to put my whole heart and soul into it.”

Zap2it asked the actor about the situation between Klaus and Caroline after last week’s emotional episode.

“I think she was being genuine,” he says. “The way Candice played it, she was being genuine. I also think it’s more interesting if she was — it sort of adds a level of complexity to her character, rather than, ‘Oh, we’re playing another thing on Klaus.’ It’s more if it comes from a genuine place. As an actor and a character, I bought into it.”

TVLine wants to know if Klaus has any romance coming up. Joseph says yes, but declines to say who with. Speculations welcome in comments!

TVLINE: Will Klaus ever get lucky in love? He has to be the most celibate vampire in Mystic Falls.
[Joseph Morgan]
Yeah, he’s going to get some action.

Joseph Morgan as KlausWhoa. WHOA. Who wants The Originals? According to THR, Julie Plec is working on a Vampire Diaries spinoff starring Joseph Morgan and Phoebe Tonkin. The idea will be set up in the April 25th episode:

In the Vampire Diaries episode slated to air April 25, Klaus returns to the supernatural melting pot that is the French Quarter of New Orleans, a town he helped build centuries ago, and is reunited with his diabolical former protege Marcel. The Secret Circle’s Phoebe Tonkin, who joined Vampire Diaries this season in a pivotal recurring role, will also star.

Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo will also serve as executive producers. Reminder: The spinoff is not a sure thing, but even the fact that it’s in the works is a big deal! Thoughts? Do you want to watch The Originals?

UPDATE: Give Me My Remote has confirmation from the network that this is indeed in the works.

Joseph Morgan as KlausWe may have to wait a few weeks for another new episode, but Joseph Morgan gave TV Guide a little preview of coming attractions:

“In the episodes to come after break, there’s a certain amount of [Klaus] sitting with his feet up, looking at the carnage as it unfolds before him,” Morgan tells TVGuide.com. “He’s pulling the puppet strings and then letting them go to see what happens.”

And will the other characters ever get around to, you know, trying to kill him?

“Our heroes are at odds with each other. If they could unite themselves like they did at the end of Season 3, maybe they would have a chance [at killing Klaus], but as long as he can keep manipulating and planting doubt in their minds, they won’t be able to come together and defeat him,” Morgan says. “Everyone has forgotten that they put Klaus down, but Klaus hasn’t forgotten. It’s like lining up chess pieces on a board — everyone is playing against each other and everyone’s arguing!”

There are also some interesting teases about the return of certain characters, so make sure you click over if you want to know!

More Interviews: Ian Somerhalder, Candice Accola & Joseph MorganReady for O Come, All Ye Faithful (EP409) tonight? Everyone has opinions on the latest turn of events in the Damon and Elena relationship and TV Guide Magazine caught up with Ian Somerhalder to discuss what the sire bond means to the couple’s fledgling romance and the steps they’ll each take to ensure what Elena is experiencing is the real deal:

TV Guide Magazine: Will it be good for the show if Elena and Damon stay together for a while?
Somerhalder: I think it’s good for the story: If Elena is with Damon, this sire bond is always an issue; plus, his brother’s really angry. So until both of them know if it’s true love, they’ve decided they’re not going to sleep together again. There will be more romance and less sex. Damon wants to do the right thing, but losing Elena is not an option. It’s a tough predicament for him.
