The CW has released the official synopsis for The Originals: An Unblinking Death (EP119), airing Tuesday, April 22nd at 8/7c. Highlight for spoilers:

THE BREAKING POINT — Desperate to help Kieran (guest star Todd Stashwick), Cami (Leah Pipes) insists on an unconventional treatment, but her good intentions lead Kieran to a violent episode. After Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) disagree over the best way to handle the Crescent Wolves, Elijah makes a trip to the bayou, where he is witness to a horrific explosion that only adds to the hatred and mistrust among the communities. While Jackson (guest star Nathan Parsons) and Elijah work to save the wounded, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) learns a surprising piece of her family history from Marcel (Charles Michael Davis).

The CW has released the official synopsis for The Vampire Diaries: The Devil Inside (EP512), airing Thursday, January 30th. Highlight for spoilers:

SEARCHING FOR THE HIGH ROAD — When Enzo (guest star Michael Malarkey) brings Damon (Ian Somerhalder) a gruesome present and insists that they bond by committing an act of revenge, Damon makes an effort to do the honorable thing. After finding himself in awkward and confusing conversations with Nadia (guest star Olga Fonda), Matt impulsively decides to throw a party, where Caroline (Candice Accola) makes a stunning confession to Elena (Nina Dobrev), then has to face the consequence of her actions with Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Tyler (Michael Trevino). Aaron (guest star Shaun Sipos) does his best to make amends for his family’s past misdeeds and start a new life for himself. Finally, Elena suddenly finds herself in a life-threatening situation with only minutes to figure out how to save herself.

The CW has released the official synopsis for The Vampire Diaries: Fifty Shades of Grayson (EP510), airing Thursday, December 12th. Highlight for spoilers:

DAMON’S PAST RETURNS TO HAUNT HIM — Damon (Ian Somerhalder) realizes Elena (Nina Dobrev) is in danger and enlists Stefan’s (Paul Wesley) help to find her. The brothers pay a visit to Aaron (guest star Shaun Sipos), and Damon shocks Stefan by revealing his first-hand knowledge of Aaron’s family. In an attempt to stop Damon, Dr. Wes (guest star Rick Cosnett) unleashes his secret weapon, forcing Damon to deal with a part of his past he thought was gone forever, as well as the consequences of his decades-long plan for revenge. Meanwhile, Elena is horrified by Dr. Wes’ confessions about the dark history of Whitmore College and his own ultimate goal. Finally, a frantic Katherine (Nina Dobrev) turns to Matt (Zach Roerig) for help, until she realizes that Nadia (guest star Olga Fonda) may be the one who can solve her problem.

The CW has released the synopsis for The Vampire Diaries: Monster’s Ball (EP505). The episode airs Thursday, October 31 at 8/7c. Highlight for spoilers:

COSTUME PARTY OF THE DAMNED - On campus, Elena (Nina Dobrev) is touched by a sad and secretive student named Aaron (guest star Shaun Sipos). Elena and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) attend the Whitmore Historical Ball dressed as Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII. At the Ball, Elena shares a dance with Dr. Maxfield (guest star Rick Cosnett), who has a disturbing message for her. Caroline’s (Candice Accola) evening at the Ball takes her from happiness to heartbreak. Meanwhile, Nadia (guest star Olga Fonda) reveals her surprising history to Katherine (Nina Dobrev), and Damon tries to make a deal with Silas (Paul Wesley). Silas’ demand that Damon commit an unthinkable act leads to a violent confrontation. Kat Graham and Zach Roerig also star.

The CW has released the official synopsis for The Vampire Diaries: American Gothic (EP418), airing Thursday, March 28th. Highlight for spoilers:

RACE FOR THE CURE — Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) take off in search of Katherine (also played by Nina Dobrev) and find themselves in a small town in Pennsylvania, where Elena has a surprising encounter with another old acquaintance — Elijah (guest star Daniel Gillies).  Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) are both concerned about Elena’s state of mind and are determined to do what’s best for her, but she makes it clear that helping her will be difficult.  Damon is not sure how to react when Stefan reveals his unexpected plan for the future.  Meanwhile, in Mystic Falls, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) receives Caroline’s (Candice Accola) reluctant help and comes to a new understanding of Silas’ powers.
