And here’s a webclip for next week’s new episode of The Originals, Le Grand Guignol (EP115). Let’s have a toast, shall we?
The Originals is back tonight and everyone wants to talk to Joseph Morgan. The actor told E!News that the show will be entering new territory soon.
“The next three episodes are all kind of part of the same story and trying to resolve the issue of this secret that was kept by Marcel and Rebekah from me, from Klaus,” Morgan previews. “I felt like they’re the best episodes we’ve done. We’re just really finding our tone now and it’s becoming a little more of a frightening show I think, which is good, because these are frightening creatures.”
The Hollywood Reporter also spoke with Joseph and he offered some insight into the Original siblings complicated relationship.
“They’re three adults in a world of children,” he says of Klaus, Rebekah and Elijah’s outlook. “They are absolutely desperately in love with each other and utterly bored of each other. They hate each other but love each other at the same time. Nobody will be able to understand them as much as they understand each other, so I think it’s an incredibly conflicted relationship that’s very needy and dysfunctional.”
We’ll be seeing lots of interviews with Joseph Morgan pop up in the next 24 hours, but TV Guide is first out of the gate with a sneak peek at what’s to come on tomorrow night’s all-new episode of The Originals, Long Way Back from Hell (EP114). He’s also previewing what we can expect as we move towards the end of the season and shares his thoughts on Klaus and Caroline’s TVD100 tryst.
With Klaus’ alienation, it’s no surprise he’ll soon delve into the werewolf side of his family, a history that has barely been explored on the show thus far. “Klaus is going to gradually show more interest in the other side of his family,” Morgan says. “He’s been primarily a vampire, but you know his last name is Mikaelson which means son of Mikael, which he’s not. So that will be really interesting. As Hayley decides how she wants to have his baby and who she wants to have around to protect her, it’ll be interesting to see where he stands [between the two worlds]. He is part werewolf even though that part has been neglected [for] the last thousand years.”
The CW has released a new webclip for tomorrow’s new episode of The Originals, Crescent City (EP113). Is Cami buying what Klaus is selling?
