First up, Mystic Falls’ hottest teacher and eligible bachelor, Alaric Saltzman, is on Twitter. Zach Roerig posted to let the cat out of the bag that Matt Davis can be found at @ErnestoRiley. Everyone pay him a warm welcome and see if we can’t entice him to tweet more.

Many thanks to @TruJamie for scanning this for us. Here’s an interesting full-page advert for the Vampire Diaries in the most recent issue of People Magazine. It’s a modified version of the Love Sucks campaign that we’re used to seeing, with a few little tweaks here and there. It’s kind of fun trying to spot them. ;)

Last night I was in Hot Topic and they have Vampire Diaries shirts! They say “Vampire Diaries” on the front and “Love Sucks” on the back! However I checked the Hot Topic site and they aren’t up yet.
And we have photos, courtesy of the lovely Taylor (click to see bigger versions in the Media Gallery):

Huge thanks to Keiran over at Vampire Diaries Spain for giving us the heads-up on these pictures that appeared on the official Vampire Diaries Facebook. These are from the photo shoot used in the ‘Love Sucks’ promotional campaign for the Vampire Diaries TV series. They’re all pretty sexy images, though we find the head shots to be particularly striking. It also hasn’t escaped our notice that the close-ups make a nice complement to the half-face theme being used in various recent editions of the Vampire Diaries books. Whether or not that was intentional, we don’t know. But it’s still pretty cool.
