Comic Con International 2011 officially kicks off tomorrow (!!!) – July 21st through July 24th – so we’re throwing together all of the Vampire Diaries-related info in one big post for easy reference. The best way to follow Comic Con as it happens? Twitter, of course. Common hashtags: #ComicCon, #SDCC, and for Warner Bros.-specific goodies, #WBSDCC. They’re here! The WB has released images of this year’s set of Comic Con swag bags. These enormous totes feature a variety of favorites, and The Vampire Diaries bag is looking great. From the press release:
The dynamic duo of Warner Bros. Entertainment and Comic-Con have renewed their powerful alliance for 2011, and the Studio will once again serve as sponsor of the Comic-Con International: San Diego Official Bag.
More than 130,000 of the signature, oversized (24”x28”) bags — dubbed the Con’s “ubiquitous accessory” by Entertainment Weekly — have been produced, and will be available to fans attending Comic-Con upon checking in throughout the five days of the convention, including Preview Night.

Thanks to Ian Somerhalder, who tweeted the title page of his script this morning, we now know that episode 217 is called Know Thy Enemy. Sounds delightfully ominous.
And in case you missed our tweet last night, Dread Central has a report from NYC’s Toy Fair 2011 (via Idle Hands, who are covering the event in full) on Tonner Doll Company‘s new Vampire Diaries figures. You can see photos of Damon Salvatore, Stefan Salvatore, and Elena Gilbert via the Idle Hands Flickr. If you’re wondering how much the dolls will retail for, looks like the suggested retail price is $159.99. UPDATE: Here’s Tonner’s official press release on the Damon Salvatore figure.

Thanks to @GrudgedPunkr for the heads up that The Vampire Diaries: Original Television Soundtrack tracklisting has been updated on Amazon. We blogged the original posted tracklisting a few weeks ago and there are definite changes – the track order, a remix of “Sleep Alone” by Bat For Lashes, and the retitling of the opening and closing Michael Suby score tracks. But the most notable change is the addition of “Cut” by Plumb. We’ve highlighted these changes below, though the overall track order has definitely changed.
