Do they think Elena will choose Stefan, Damon, or someone else entirely? Ian’s take: “I think she is probably done with the Salvatore boys for a while.” And watch this video to see what Nina and Zach think:

This week’s episode, Bringing Out The Dead (EP313), was penned by Al Septien and Turi Meyer and they’ve donated a signed script to an eBay auction raising funds for Thomas Starr King Middle School, a public school based in Los Angeles. The script is signed by Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Zach Roerig, Candice Accola, Matt Davis, Kat Graham, Joseph Morgan, Persia White…and others. (Watch tomorrow night!) You can also bid on a Season 2 cast and crew hoodie!

From the school’s website:

SCHOOL VISION
We envision a school in which all students will be equipped with meaningful life tools, such as skills in literacy; critical thinking; basic academics; technology; the appreciation of art; democratic values of acceptance, participation and accountability, and the ability to work with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds.

Now is the time for TVD fandom to rally and do what it does best: Support a worthy cause. ALL proceeds from the auction go to helping Thomas Starr King Middle School continue its mission of providing a quality education for its students. That’s an amazing thing for the fandom to be a part of, don’t you think? Please spread the word through Twitter, Facebook, your blog – everywhere!

GO! Head over to eBay and let those bids fly: SIGNED SCRIPT AUCTION & SEASON 2 CAST AND CREW HOODIE AUCTION. Auction ends on Monday, February 6th!

XXYou can find Nina Dobrev gracing the cover of NYLON’s February 2012 issue and the mag has included snippets from the feature on their website, as well as outtakes from the cover shoot. Thanks to PopSugar for the peek at the cover!

On doing more films
“I want to become a different person, and that’s what working in film allows. I want to be a punk or a sweetheart or a drug addict! There are so many things to explore… Sometimes they’ll be like, ‘She’s not plain enough.’ Or ‘She’s not edgy enough.’ That frustrates me. I feel like a blank canvas, and I wish people would be a little more open-minded.”

We tweeted a glimpse from our Twitter the other night but be sure to pick up the February 2012 issue of CBS’s Watch! magazine (Matt Czuchry and Archie Panjabi of The Good Wife on the cover) for a nice fold-out feature on Nina entitled The Dobrev Diaries.

And Seventeen has an interview with Nina about how she celebrated her birthday this year, “Vampire Diaries memories,” and what we can expect on the show very soon:

17: Can you tell us about the new episodes at the end of the month?

ND: There’s a ball coming up in Mystic Falls and all the main players are invited. They don’t know what to expect because there’s a lot of tension and being at this party feels like it’s a ticking time bomb. Everyone is on guard waiting for it to go off. There’s drama on and off the dance floor — some of the characters connect, for better or for worse. And the last thing I can say is that there are some pretty pivotal things that are said and cannot be taken back. It will come as a huge surprise for the audience!

The CW has added two awesome new video promos that include clips from The Vampire Diaries. You’ll have to watch closely (and maybe repeat them a few times) because they move pretty fast. Think you guys can handle that? We know it’s a real hardship, but please, support the show. ;)

Update: We’ve replaced the videos with the official CW YouTube versions, for the benefit of international fans. Thanks to commenter Thirsty Like a Vamp for letting us know they’d been posted!

Here’s the first one, Turn It On.

It’ a tough job, but somebody’s got to do it. Here’s CW promo video number two, Men At Work.

New Promotional Poster Featuring Nina Dobrev + People's Choice Congratulatory VideoNina Dobrev recently took home a People’s Choice Award for Favorite TV Drama Actress, and the CW is making sure everybody knows it! They’ve released a new promo poster featuring Nina that congratulates her on her win. You can see the whole picture here at Zap2it. We’re not entirely sure how we feel about the caption, it’s making us just a tiny bit nervous.

In case you missed it last week, they’ve also put together a little video to honor the award winner, you can watch it here.

Ian Somerhalder as DamonTV Guide‘s William Keck talked to Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev at the People’s Choice Awards and got a tantalizing tidbit about an upcoming scene in which Damon will wake up “naked with another woman who is a hot vampire” – but who? Click through to TV Guide to see the hints Ian and Nina give about the woman’s identity – and Elena’s reaction. Speculate away, and let’s also remember that while this scene might take place in the present day, it also might be a flashback. So many options!
