Check out PopSugar’s Top 10 Hot Vampires and Werewolves, The Vampire Diaries snagged three spots, with Paul Wesley at #9, Nina Dobrev at #7 and Ian Somerhalder at #1.
You can also vote for your favorite in this year’s installment of Glamour’s Sexiest Men. Ian is listed at #65 with Paul right behind him at #70. Before you vote, however, you may want to check out this little gem of a video from TV3. The video is in Spanish Catalan (hey, they were in Barcelona, after all!) but don’t let that scare you off. The fellas start talking around 2.22, and it’s worth a look for sure!

Those of you heading to San Diego Comic Con this year will be happy to know that a Vampire Diaries panel has been confirmed by Warner Bros. Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Candice Accola, Joseph Morgan, Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec will be attending the panel, which is to be held on Saturday, July 23 at 3:30pm to 4:15pm in Ballroom 20.
The WB are still in the planning stages with regards to what’s going on at the WB booth, merchandise that will be available (we eagerly await the reveal of the Comic Con bags that double as a tent) and what content will be available for fans not attending the con. We’ll be keeping our eyes and ears on the alert for future developments and will let you know as soon as we find things out.

Zap2It chatted with Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, and Paul Wesley on yesterday’s CW Upfront red carpet to look back on the big moments of the Vampire Diaries Season 2 finale, specifically That Kiss and Stefan’s dark, uncertain future in the hands of Klaus:
Paul has always been a big fan of the dark side of Stefan. “I’m cautiously optimistic that Season 3 maintains that,” Paul says. “I don’t know what’s going to happen because they don’t tell us anything. I hope he doesn’t turn good, you know, episode two he’s like ‘Ah, what am I doing? Elena!’ and he starts crying.”

AOL TV Squad‘s Vampire Diaries recapper extraordinaire, Jean Bentley, caught up with Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley and Nina Dobrev (and more!) on the CW Upfront red carpet to talk naughty Stefan.
And PopWrap‘s Jarett Wieselman chats with Ian, Paul and Nina as well.
PopWrap: With Stefan’s turn towards the dark side, it seems like you’ll pretty much be playing one another’s characters next year, huh?
Paul Wesley: Literally! I’m going to be playing Damon, and he’ll be playing Stefan and we’re hoping no one notices.
Ian Somerhalder: It’s going to be a musical season.
PW: The finale set up some very interesting stuff for Elena in season three. What do you think about Katherine’s comment “it’s ok to love them both” — you think that’s true?
Nina: God, I don’t know. The thing is, you can’t help who you love and who you’re attracted to. It’s not something you can just shut off, so Katherine – for once – did have some words of wisdom! She told the truth, which is rare because she never speaks the truth. Or saves the day, which she also did!
