The ladies of ClevverTV recently welcomed Candice Accola into their studio to talk all things Vampire Diaries. In addition to covering the usual – working in Atlanta, Caroline’s transformation in Season 2 – she fully admits that she doesn’t have a solid idea of what awaits in Season 3 and is wondering along with the rest of us. You can watch additional snippets from the interview here and here. And Candice confirms that Caroline’s rendition of “Eternal Flame” (from The House Guest) will indeed be included on another Vampire Diaries soundtrack (as music supervisor Chris Mollere promised).

What kinds of fans do you have through Vampire Diaries? When you play a role, it attracts people that are similar to that character. I play a witch, so Wiccans will hit me up. A girl once gave me a bag of chicken bones; I guess she assumed I would know what to do with them. It freaked me out.

Entertainment Weekly‘s Mandi Bierly chats with Nina Dobrev about the final two episodes of Vampire Diaries Season 2: The Sun Also Rises (airing tonight) and As I Lay Dying, next week’s season finale. Nina gives some pretty heavy teases about what fans can expect, touching on John Gilbert, Jenna, Katherine, and Damon.
“The one thing Elena has been fighting so hard to achieve all season is to protect her friends and her family, and now she’s in this circumstance where she’s very vulnerable and helpless and she has to sit there like a spectator and watch those around her die knowing that she’s basically next.”

TV Fanatic’s Gabrielle Compolongo caught up with Zach Roerig to discuss the reasons behind Matt’s actions on the show, his relationship with Caroline and Tyler, possible love interests, and whether or not he’ll survive this season of the Vampire Diaries…
Why is Matt complying with the sheriff when he knows Caroline would never hurt him?
I’m not sure if he knows Caroline would never hurt him. Matt’s ultimate instinct is to do the right thing and in that instance, the right thing was a very cloudy thing. Whether to be against the vampires and the woman that he loves, or to be on the “obvious” good side. There was an inner struggle there. Complying was his attempt to do the right thing.
