It’s Tubey time again! There’s a new round of Tubey Awards up at Television Without Pity, but TVD fans beware! A lot of the awards this round are NOT the kind of ‘honors’ that we want The Vampire Diaries to receive! Do we really want Damon to take dubious honors with The Most Cringeworthy Moment? Or end up with Worst Returning Show? No, we do not! So read carefully, vote carefully and make sure our show walks away with the right awards.

Another day, another Tater Top! The Vampire Diaries is still showing up in almost every voting category, and this is one we’ll definitely want to vote for. Yesterday brought us Damon and Klaus up for Best Baddie, and today Sara Canning has a nomination for Which TV Star Will You Miss The Most? You’ll have to scroll down when you get to the page, it’s the second of a pair. The first in the set is What TV Show Will You Miss The Most? and thank goodness there’s no TVD nomination in that.

It’s our personal favorite readers’ awards of the year! Television Without Pity‘s annual Tubey Awards – honoring “the best, worst, and just plain insane” from the 2010-2011 TV season – has officially begun! Round 1 of the semi-finals kicks off with quite a few pleasant surprises – Daniel Gillies/Elijah received a lot of love in the fan nominations and he’s in several categories, including Favorite Actor (!) – and some well-deserved love for the usual suspects. Now, this is the semi-finals, so that means you’re voting to get your faves into the top ten of each category. You have until July 5th to vote in this round before the second round posts. HEAD OVER TO TELEVISION WITHOUT PITY AND GET VOTING!
