It’s February sweeps time again, and TV line have the latest Vampire Diaries poster from the CW. Okay, so we know our show isn’t all sunshine, rainbows and unicorns, but sweeps posters don’t usually leave fans so worried. “Give him enough rope…” Let’s just hope that’s figurative and not literal.

As part of the run-up to May sweeps, we’re getting some fun new promotional images from the CW. E!Online has an exclusive look at some beautiful artwork of Elena and a rose – with the tagline “A future blooms.” Intriguing! Is it referring to a romantic future – or something else? And why is she crying? Speculating about that should help tide us over until Thursday, right?

February is right on the doorstep, but we’re not going to let the gloomiest month in existence get us down. After all, the Vampire Diaries returns on Thursday (late February, if you’re in the UK – keep the faith, UK fans!), and the CW are gifting us with sexy teasers like this one. Yum. We also have a textless version in the gallery for those who want the pretty in all its glory.

Nina Dobrev recently took home a People’s Choice Award for Favorite TV Drama Actress, and the CW is making sure everybody knows it! They’ve released a new promo poster featuring Nina that congratulates her on her win. You can see the whole picture here at Zap2it. We’re not entirely sure how we feel about the caption, it’s making us just a tiny bit nervous.

Tonight was the CW Premiere Party in Los Angeles and Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Joseph Morgan, Kat Graham, Zach Roerig, Candice Accola, Steven R. McQueen, Matt Davis, Michael Trevino, Nina Dobrev, and Daniel Gillies (!) were in attendance, along with Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson. Photos seem to be slow in coming but we’ve got a few goodies to share for the time being. First up, thanks to Candice Accola Web for the heads up on KTLA’s video interview with members of the Vampire Diaries cast. By the way, The Vampire Diaries premieres Thursday, September 15th, KTLA. ;)

We’re not going to lie, fandom. We’d been a little underwhelmed by the promo so far for Vampire Diaries Season 3. Something was missing – that special bite. Well, it seems the CW had an ace up their sleeve and TV Line has the exclusive first look at the key art for Season 3. And it’s so good.
The set of four posters – featuring Nina, Paul, Ian, and Joseph – are dark, bloody, and hot as all hell. Check out the Nina poster below and see the full set over at TV Line.
