First off, a reminder: There will be no new (or repeat!) of The Vampire Diaries next Thursday, January 26th. The show returns with Bringing Out The Dead (EP313) on February 2nd! Nina Dobrev recently took home a People’s Choice Award for Favorite TV Drama Actress, and the CW is making sure everybody knows it! They’ve released a new promo poster featuring Nina that congratulates her on her win. You can see the whole picture here at Zap2it. We’re not entirely sure how we feel about the caption, it’s making us just a tiny bit nervous.

On Thursday, January 12, 2012, Joseph Morgan represented The Vampire Diaries at the 2012 Winter Television Critics Association, where he joined Supernatural‘s Jared Padalecki, Nikita‘s Shane West, Hart of Dixie‘s Wilson Bethel, and Gossip Girl‘s Ed Westwick on the Bad-Ass Boys of the CW panel. We live-RTed many of the critics in attendance and we’re collecting some of the commentary here. (And be jealous of the nifty planners the CW handed our, featuring network characters/quotes.)
