You guys, we are trying SO HARD not to spoil anything for the UK, but it’s incredibly difficult. So, here’s TV Fanatic’s interview with one of the cast members about some stuff that you DO NOT WANT TO KNOW if you haven’t seen up through The Ties That Bind (EP312). The actor talks about his or her character and suggests that what happens next week on Bringing Out The Dead (EP313)…
…will “dictate the course” of the next several installments, with “terms and parameters” getting laid out for various characters.

If you haven’t seen last week’s episode (The Ties That Bind, EP312), then spoiler warnings apply to just about everything these days. This interview with Robert Ri’chard from Hollywood Life is no exception, so read at your own risk. While the actor doesn’t give too many details, he does talk about some things that happened last week, and gives some hints about what might be in store for his character and Bonnie. He also shares a bit about what it’s like to work on the show for the first time.
OK, first impressions — What was it like stepping onto the show as a newbie?
“It was a really well-run set, and at first, I was intimidated by the size of the show. Going onto a show that already has such a big following, every mom, every daughter, everyone I talked to was like, ‘Wow, you’re on a really big show.’ So I just decided I was going to go in and work hard and put out a really good performance. I think I felt more pressure on this than when I guest starred on, like, CSI: Miami.”

Last night’s episode (Our Town, EP311) has everyone talking this morning. While the topic of Klaus’s love life may be dominating many conversations, there are a lot of other issues to be concerned about as well. TV Guide has some clues for us about some of the fallout from last night, and some hints about what we might be seeing in upcoming episodes. More Klaus vs. Stefan struggling for sure, and then there’s the question of when certain very-daggered little sister might be waking up again. They went to Julie Plec for some answers, but BEWARE OF SPOILERS.
…Will [Rebekah] be undaggered any time soon? Plec tells us: “…Certainly, when that does happen, she’s certainly not going to be any fan of Elena Gilbert, so the struggle of wills they had earlier in the season will be back with a vengeance and Rebekah is going to want to try to take Elena down a little for stabbing her in the back.“

Getting back to Klaus: E!Online sat down with Joseph Morgan for an interview with the actor, who talks candidly about his experience with the role, his affection for the fans (and Twitter!) and teases some things about the future.

We’re all still catching our collective breath from last night’s episode, but The Vampire Diaries never rests on its laurels! SPOILER WARNING is in effect for anyone who hasn’t seen The New Deal (EP310).
Kat Graham spoke with The Insider about all things Bonnie, and it looks like Mystic Falls’ resident witch is going to have a busy few weeks coming up! Those coffin dreams aren’t just stress, by the way: from the sound of things they’re going to be very important as the story unfolds. She was, however, appropriately cagey when asked about how long it might be until we get some answers out of that box.
Kat: I can’t say how long it will be but I can tell you that whatever is in that coffin is extremely important to the future of what’s happening in Mystic Falls – and the show in general. There’s a lot of weight to that reveal.
If that wasn’t enough to drive us wild with speculation -and it was, it really was!- Entertainment Weekly also has a tidbit about Bonnie and her dreamy new juju. Evidently there are more dreams on the way, and Kat is excited to play with this new power.
“I love that they brought in that aspect of her, because a lot of the stuff that Bonnie experiences in terms of being a witch is very external and all about doing a spell and a lot of physicality,” says Kat Graham.
What do you think of Bonnie’s new and improved dreaming? Anything else you’d like to see her manifest? Let us know in the comments!

First off, BEWARE OF SPOILERS IN BOTH ARTICLES.
Still with us? Good! If you’re little confused about where we left off a few weeks ago, don’t worry, Entertainment Weekly is ready to catch you up -and vault you forward- before tonight’s episode. They’ve got some great insights from Julie Plec about what’s ahead as we return to Mystic Falls. From the sound of things, life is about to get pretty interesting for one Mr. Alaric Saltzman.
…”But it’s going to be fun to see Alaric, after all this time [RIP, Jenna], notice a beautiful woman in his vicinity and have a response to her. He’s become more and more of a guardian figure to Elena and Jeremy, and so, of course, Elena is gonna be rootin’ for him to have someone.”
TV Line is also looking ahead, and they also went to Julie for some answers. She’s got some things to say about Elena and Damon, a possible romance for Klaus, and Tyler’s new sire issues. She’s also got some dish about the coffins that’s sure to get fans’ attention.
“At least one of those daggered Originals is coming out of those coffins,” teases Plec. “That will happen sooner than later.
Which Original is getting unboxed? We have no idea and Julie won’t say, looks like we’ll all just have to watch and see. Good thing it’s Thursday, just a few more hours to wait!

For Vampire Diaries fans cannot live on promos alone (okay, maybe they can): TV Line has a slew of Vampire Diaries teases, including tidbits on Stefan, Caroline, Bonnie, Dr. Fell, and Klaus:
Question: Joseph Morgan recently mentioned that he’d like to see Klaus have a love interest on Vampire Diaries. Is this happening anytime soon? —Amy
Ausiello: Morgan is getting his wish! While Plec wouldn’t tell us if the lucky (or maybe not so lucky?) lady is someone we’ve met before, she did confirm “someone will catch Klaus’ eye very soon.”
Zap2It has their own preview of this week’s episode, The New Deal (EP310):
We’ll find out much more about siring and what it means to Tyler that Klaus is his sire — he’ll even explain the key differences between compulsion and siring. (Sort of. Let’s just say the line is a little blurry.)
And TV.com‘s Price Peterson tweeted out a The New Deal tease that may interest fans of The Vampire Diaries book series:
This week’s ep of #TVD marks the first time I’ve ever regretted not reading the books.
Make of that what you will (and speculate in the comments)!

One week out from the return of The Vampire Diaries on January 5th and there are teases galore about what we can expect from The New Deal (EP310) on January 5th. Following up KSiteTV‘s Ten Things About The New Deal from yesterday, TV Overmind and The Examiner’s TV Insider chime in with their own thoughts after previewing the full episode. Warning: Minor spoilers!
TV Overmind: The Vampire Diaries Episode 3.10 Advance Preview – Klaus Means Serious Business
Jeremy angrily declares what may turn out to be true. After they all become aware of the lengths Klaus will go to in order to retrieve his family members, Jeremy wisely suggests they skip town. “None of us are gonna make it out of this town alive”, he concludes. One has to wonder whether that will turn out to be true in the end. With The Vampire Diaries, you never know.
The Examiner’s TV Insider: The Vampire Diaries’ The New Deal Spoilers
Strip a man– or a vampire, or a hybrid, whatever– of the ones he loves, and he spirals. What that looks like depends on the individual involved, and in the case of “The New Deal” and Klaus, it looks like sticking around Mystic Falls to torment and threaten, and yes, brood, until he gets what he wants. But he isn’t the only one spiraling when The Vampire Diaries returns.
And TV Guide‘s Robyn Ross chats with Executive Producer Julie Plec about that ever-present tension between Elena and Damon and how Elena herself will respond to new threats against her loved ones (and it may – or may not – surprise you.)
“Elena realizes that in order to survive and in order to protect the people she loves the most, sometimes she has to behave more like Katherine than Elena, and sometimes a dark choice needs to be made, a violent act needs to be enacted and it’s troubling for her,” Plec says. “So who is she really at her core? She’s clearly not the girl-next-door do-gooder, she never has been.”

Screeners for the January 5th episode of The Vampire Diaries, The New Deal (EP310), were sent to select TV bloggers/reporters today, and KSiteTV has a (mildly spoilery) preview of what TVD fans can expect when the show returns next week.
7. Shippers will be happy. Which shippers? The CW gods said not to tell… but I can say at least three fan-groups get to see their favorite characters interacting. The choice of names that Klaus lists as “Elena’s loved ones” is also particularly interesting. And some shippers might want to get their screen-capturing software handy.
