At Sunday’s Teen Choice Awards, Carina MacKenzie of Zap2it did a series of video interviews with the stars of The Vampire Diaries. They talked about their summers, season three, their characters’ futures, and more. Head over to Zap2it to watch these interviews:

As you know, Michael Trevino and Kat Graham won the Male and Female Scene Stealer honors at the Teen Choice Awards last night, but because of time constraints, they weren’t able to speak during the award show. But never fear – they made their own (adorable) thank you video in which they thank the writers, the fans, and more! L.A. Times reporter Amy Kaufman caught up with Ian Somerhalder on last night’s 2011 Teen Choice Awards red carpet. Somewhere in here, Justin Bieber happens. Ian seems incredulous about people actually watching The Vampire Diaries (and very grateful), dances around some Season 3 hints, and touches on being an actor actively involved with charities/causes.

The Vampire Diaries and cast had a big night at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards and have even more surfboards to add to the collection! Give yourselves a pat on the back, fans, because you voted the cast into some major wins tonight. The Vampire Diaries took home Choice TV Show: Fantasy/Sci-Fi, beating out Smallville, Supernatural, Teen Wolf, and Fringe. TVD cast members won the following:
- Choice TV Actor: Fantasy/Sci-Fi – Ian Somerhalder
- Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi – Nina Dobrev
