Brace yourselves for an onslaught of pretty! Zap2it has exclusive stills from the upcoming prom episode, Pictures of You (EP419), scheduled to air on April 18th, 2013.
Need a little more? We’ve also got this week’s Vampire Diaries Bite from TV Guide features Ian Somerhalder talking about the upcoming meeting between Katherine and Elena.
On this week’s Vampire Diaries Bite at TV Guide, Ian Somerhalder talks about Damon in the 1970s and his relationship with Lexi, as well as his feelings toward Elena at the moment: “Damon gets another side of Elena that really solidifies that he’s not a fan of her current state.”
The Vampire Diaries returns tomorrow with Bring It On (EP416), so we also have the return of TV Guide‘s Vampire Diaries Bite video feature. This week, Ian Somerhalder discusses the new Elena:
“It’s super cool to see this super empowered woman where the boys aren’t scared she’s going to walk out the door and get killed because she’s a badass chick who can hold her own.”
Spoilers, spoilers, spoilers! Under no circumstances should you have anything to do with this Vampire Diaries Bite if you haven’t watched last night’s episode (Down The Rabbit Hole, EP414) yet. If you have…enjoy!
We know Vaughn (guest star Charlie Bewley) will play a big role in this week’s new episode, Down the Rabbit Hole (EP414). In this week’s Vampire Diaries Bite, TV Guide talks to Ian Somerhalder about whether Vaughn will pose a threat to Damon in particular. And . . . looks like yes:
“Damon would be an extremely difficult man to get tied up to a tree, unless you’re Elena or some hot sorority girl who is compelled to do so. So the fact that he’s there means Vaughn knows what he’s doing.”
In this week’s Vampire Diaries Bite, TV Guide talks to Ian Somerhalder about whether he thinks Elena is in love with Damon and whether he’d be able to embrace that love.
“Even as dumb and crazy as Damon can be, it’s like, ‘ouch fire hot, ouch fire hot, ouch fire hot.’ I would hope the man would take a break. Hell, people get burned over a six-month relationship and take a year to heal. If you got screwed over for 150 years, you can imagine how that carries forward.”
TV Guide talked to Kat Graham about tonight’s episode A View to a Kill (EP412) and Bonnie’s run-in with Kol. Sounds like it will be pretty dramatic:
“This is the first scene that Bonnie and Kol have had together and it’s honestly one of the most intense scenes I’ve had with one other person since I don’t know when.”
Watch the Vampire Diaries Bite:
It’s Vampire Diaries Bite time and this week TV Guide‘s listing off 5 Reasons Why Klaus Isn’t Any Worse Than Stefan or Damon:
Klaus is just really, really lonely Because his own parents viewed him as an abomination, Klaus never felt worthy of affection. That’s why he isolates himself from those around him with violence and a false display of apathy — but that doesn’t mean Klaus is at all happy about it.
After Stefan insulted Klaus for keeping victims’ letters to memorialize them, the Original pointed out that Stefan wrote his victims’ names on walls. According to Klaus, this wasn’t a celebration of the deaths, but simply a “reminder that in the end, we’re left infinitely and utterly alone.”
Agree? Disagree? Head over to TV Guide to read the rest of their reasons and then check out the Bite below.
TV Fanatic has an interview with Candice Accola that covers everything from Caroline’s love life to her relationships with Stefan and Elena. The friendship between Stefan and Caroline is a big favorite among many fans, and according to Accola we’ll be seeing more of it soon.
Watch out for spoilers if you aren’t up to date on the episodes!
“You’ll definitely see that friendship develop,” Accola says. “The parallel that runs through both of their lives right now is that Stefan is trying to do right by Elena even if he doesn’t agree with her choices, while Caroline is doing the same with Tyler.”
This week’s Vampire Diaries Bite from TV Guide features audio from Julie Plec talking about Tyler and Caroline’s love life.
This week’s TV Guide Vampire Diaries Bite is good news for fans of Damon’s reckless side, looks like we’ll be seeing some more of it soon, and that it will be a big draw for Elena’s own wild side. Hear what Julie Plec has to say about it in the clip below.
Speaking of reckless, Zach Roerig answers questions from Celebuzz about Matt Donovan’s guilt issues and what might be in store for him this season.
Celebuzz: Matt is obviously feeling a lot of guilt about Elena’s sacrifice for him. How is that going to continue to impact his role this season?
Zach Roerig: Feeling that guilt is going to make him is question why he is alive. I just think both Salvatore brothers are going to encourage Matt in different ways to kind of put up or shut up. Matt’s involvement is stepped up in everything.
Zach Roerig isn’t the only one who has to step up this season, Nina Dobrev has a whole new challenge as she takes on Elena’s new reality. The TV Chick spoke with the actress about all the changes Elena is going through this season.
What are you looking forward to this season for your character?
To go on the journey with her and sort of see how she deals with things, and it’s sad though. She never wanted this at all and now she has no choice. Not just for today, but forever. And she’s stuck with this lifestyle, but who knows. Everything happens for a reason, and maybe one day she’ll be really thankful and really happy that she gets to live through different eras and different times. Maybe she will leave all these boys behind and try to find a cure for cancer or make some good of it.
