TV Guide also has a piece about the CW’s femme fatales that has some nice things to say about Candice Accola’s portrayal of Caroline:
“TVD’s Candice Accolla [sic], with her blonde brightness and scratchy-sweet voice, has stolen and broken our hearts so many times since Caroline was turned into a bloodsucker that we’re torn between rooting for her to find some kind of happiness and hoping that the writers continue to torment her.”

Tierney Bricker of E!Online recently spent some time in Atlanta and talked to Nina Dobrev, Zach Roerig, and Ian Somerhalder about Elena’s romantic future. Do they think Elena will choose Stefan, Damon, or someone else entirely? Ian’s take: “I think she is probably done with the Salvatore boys for a while.” And watch this video to see what Nina and Zach think:

On this week’s Vampire Diaries Bite, Robyn Ross of TV Guide talks to Joseph Morgan about some new information we’ll soon get about Klaus’s past as well as how he’ll feel about some upcoming events. Warning: Spoilers through The Ties that Bind (EP312)! Mythology fans will like this tidbit:
“We’re going to learn about the ritual they went through to become vampires and also the ritual that made Klaus’ werewolf side dormant,” Morgan says.
In the video (again – spoilers through the previous episode!), there’s more about Klaus’s feelings on a potential Original family reunion, his dinner party, and what might devastate him.

Entertainment Weekly is in Atlanta on the Vampire Diaries set, and they’re getting all sorts of good scoop from the cast. (Warning: Lots of spoilers through The Ties That Bind (EP312)!) Joseph Morgan says, of the dinner party Klaus will throw in Bringing Out the Dead (EP313):
“This is going to be interesting because there’s all of that feeling, all of that tension from all of the fights and manipulation and history that’s been going on between these guys sitting around the dinner table. It’s like a game of poker.”
Intriguing! And they have a great video with Candice Accola in which she discusses Caroline’s reactions to recent events – including her new potential love interest and a “being” that is “creating a lot more turmoil than any viewer might think.” Plus: Ian Somerhalder on Damon’s odds of getting Elena – and who might have a better chance.

Last week’s episode, Our Town (EP311) showed us a new facet of Klaus, and a lot of people want to know more about it. PopSugar interviewed Joseph Morgan to discuss the many dimensions of his character and how he feels about shaking things up for the Original bad boy.
Joseph also talked to Eric Goldman of IGN about his character and what’s in those coffins:
I really do feel like, “Oh God, they really did have a plan from the beginning! They really knew where they were going with this.” That’s very pleasing for me. It’s like the suitcase in Pulp Fiction that they open up, and the gold shines out of it. You’re like, “What’s in that suitcase!? I need to know!” But at least in our show we are going to find out what or who is in these coffins. I feel like that’s a huge, intriguing part of the show. I don’t want to tease too much because it’s sort of like telling you what’s in your Christmas presents before you open them.
Joseph also discusses Klaus’s potential love interest and his relationship with Elijah.
