The more I think about it, the more I think I would like Caroline to move onto The Originals. I think her character would ground it a little bit, since in the back door pilot it looked like the show would mostly just be lots of vampire debauchery. Of course, it might be fun to see her character embrace a little vampire indulgence too so basically it would bring out the best of both worlds. I’m thinking that if the show gets a season 2 and they manage to pull her away from Tyler in S5 this is what will happen.

That’s not a bad idea. Caroline has definitely turned into a goody-two-shoes since she became a vampire, so it would be nice — and interesting — to see her give in to her darker impulses as a vampire; and I think The Originals is the perfect place to do it. It’s amazing the difference between season one Caroline and Caroline of today. “Boy meets girl: Sex.” End quote! Whatever happened to “that” Caroline? lol I guess being turned into a vampire was the best thing that ever happened to her. Looks like she’s drinking that lemonade by the bucket’s full. Ha!

I have to admit: I like listening to Julie speak. She has a way of expressing herself and her ideas for the show that draws you, gets you excited and gives you hope. But sadly, that hope and some of those ideas are ultimately hollow in the end. Cause what she says and what she does, or better yet — how those ideas are implemented in the show — are two different things. And lately there’s been a disconnect between the former and the latter. Lets hope this season balances that out a bit.
