Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello has two Vampire Diaries teases in tonight’s column. One has Ian Somerhalder saying the loyalty of Stefan fans could be tested in upcoming episodes (you’ll have to head over to Ask Ausiello to read the rest of that quote), and the second item, which is about Tyler Lockwood, is very interesting, very spoilery, and just very VERY. (And also falls in line with what many fans have been speculating for a while now.) Highlight the block to get a peek, but you can read the entire item at Ask Ausiello. (Scroll down a bit.)
The werewolf card will eventually be played because “wherever there are vampires, there are usually wolves nearby,” notes Williamson. “My biggest concern is what the weekly special effect is going to look like. That takes careful preparation and a lot of money and some testing. We’re working on it now to figure out what we can do that won’t just look stupid. And they have to still be sexy — because, let’s face it, we cast these beautiful people for a reason.”
