The overnight ratings for the episode are in, with it pulling in 3.72 million viewers in the USA. From TV By the Numbers:

The other big beneficiary of the weaker competition at 8pm was CW’s Vampire Diaries, which was up 13% from its slow post-repeat gap start last week to a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating, near its season average for new episodes. Vampire Diaries had its best adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and total viewer (3.72mil) numbers since Nov. 12.

If you missed the episode (or just want to watch it again), “Unpleasantville” is now available to watch/download in several places (and no, we don’t know why Amazon didn’t have it up until today, either).

USA fans: Download from Amazon
UK fans: Download from iTunes
Canadian fans: Watch for free on CTV

Finally, for a bit of fun, go and vote in the unofficial CW awards at Watch With Kristin. Get those votes in there for the Vampire Diaries, people. ;)
