Buddy TV has a brief chat with Matt Davis about Alaric’s role in upcoming episodes of The Vampire Diaries. While he may not give up much on the issue of Isobel, he does talk about Alaric’s tentative alliance with the Salvatores against their common nemesis John Gilbert and…well, an on-set prank that reads like a Whitley Strieber outtake.
Fans can also expect more of the complex dynamic between Alaric and Damon, the vampire who turned Alaric’s wife. “You’ll see moments where you find that they have respect for each other and then you’ll find moments where they don’t. They’re unlikely allies bound together by searching for a woman who left them.”
