What about Within Temptation “All I need”?

Well, my top 2 songs made it (All You Wanted, my favorite song ever, then bloodstream) and also down by Jason walker is pretty good, but many songs I liked didn’t make it, like All I Need ( Damon and Elena’s dance was such a defining musical moment) and also believer by viva voce from family ties and true faith by anberlin from founder’s day. Ain’t no rest for the wicked by cage the elephant from isobel, cut by plumb from Elena and stefan’s love scene (bleh btw to that, but a great song) and then marchin on by timbaland from blood brothers and temptation by moby from Friday night bites.Oh and It is what it is by lifehouse from founder’s day and cosmic love by Florence + the machine from bloodlines. And all that is off the top of my head, lol. I liked a whole lot more. I think they should’ve made it two discs and done a separate soundtrack from season 2. But I’m still just super happy All You Wanted made it in, that song is just so freakin amazing.

I think Bloodsteam has to be my favourite Vampire Diaries song…such a great song! :)

Not to mention bands/artists like- Imogen Heap, Cage The Elephant, Moby, The Misfits, Florence + The Machines, and etc. You’d think they find more then half of “new” music on the OST. Totally nuts.

I have been trying to find All You Wanted to download, but ITunes or Amazon do not list it. Can anyone help..loved that ep and song.

If you don’t see your favorite songs on the list they can be found at TV_fanatic under music for TVD and they’re broken up by episode. I collected them all season and their website has a direct link to iTunes :). I will still purchase the soundtrack though because many of the songs on it I don’t have. Oh, and Bloodstream is my favorite song right now too ;)!! Can’t wait till September 9th!!

NEWS FLASH***
they are filming once more in the beautiful newton county georgia. if your obsessed with this show and want to know all the places their shooting hit me up. i know all the hot spots. i ride by the MYSTIC restraunt every day. their filming 5 minutes down the road from my house . east and west. also in the school i went to. on the square, and in the woods by my aunts. cant wait for transformer 3 so i can see myself in uniform. hooah

Looks like I will have to buy that one. If it had had more songs I already bought I wouldn’t have, but I only already have the ones from Placebo, Bat For Lashes (because those two were already there) and Down from Jason Walker I downloaded especially because of the series. But well.
I’m very happy that Beauty of the Dark is on it, and I guess they didn’t get clearance for All I Need, though I don’t care as much as some do. I really would have liked to see Viva Voce though, even though I already bought that song, because it is awesomesauce.

they should have put:

1. cut – plumb

2.believer – viva voce

3. temptation – moby

I think they should have put All I Need, as that was defiantly a memorable moment the series. Cut by Plumb I think should have been in it too. So many good songs were missed out. Kinda guttered about that, they should just make a seperate CD for season 2, it would have worked better. Oh well I will probably end up buying it anyway.

we should all complain to the producer of the soundtrack and ask for our favs to be put on the next soundtrack.

IMO, They’re two of the best songs. (but I’m Team Damon and Team Delena so i may be a little biased!)

i’ll just probably buy the vd mix of bloodstream on itunes and that will be it. i wish they put more season one songs on the soundtrack.

Just bought the first season. After 5 eps. I’m hooked. Can’t wait until the soundtrack. The show is the best thing on the CW since Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Even better then Angel. Its cool to see vampires being old school instead of the whole Twilight thing (burning in the sun vs. sparkles)and being the way vamps should be; bloodthirsty killers.

Cant believe “cut” by Plumb didnt make it onto this album, When stefan and Elena finally “get it on” is the best moment in the entire series!!!

They should have included chances by five for fighting and cut by plumb i was kinda disappointed to see they weren’t on there.
