Didn’t look like any new footage. :( Anyone see anything?

The CW looks like they are going to have a great fall.. I just caught up on all of gossip girl this summer (yes I had nothing at all to do)…but looks like they aren’t giving up any spoilers yet for TVD…but I can’t wait…this show is by far one of the best on tv, and I cant wait for episode 1!!!!! What was it Growing Pains???

* pouts * No new footage, bummer. I guess we probably can’t expect any until September at least, though. Sucks.

That show beauty and the beast looks kind of good, and I would be up for seeing Arrow…
Got so psyched to see at least a little glimpse of season 4 of TVD, thanks a lot CW… I guess that was for TVD newcomers!!!

pfft nothing new 

Isn’t it about time the CW released a teaser trailer or new promo for 4×01?  I know TVD doesn’t come back until October, but it just feels like we haven’t heard or seen anything in forever.  Then again, TVD promos can be the most aggravating, misleading, unsatisfying things.  Seriously, I know they want people to watch the show, but their editing and choice of clips could be better.

“Ask Ausiello” had a spoiler tidbit in regards to Damon for Season 4.  Of course I never thought Damon needed to change, or try to “be the better man” for Elena, nor did he need to take a “road to redemption”.   Tasting the “original flavor Damon” is all I want or need, because it is so yummy.

I know right? I love that he says ‘why am I still alive?!!!’ As if he’s almost annoyed about it… His life really means very little to him… that’s why he is willing on a regular basis to sacrifice himself for the ones he loves… how can you not love this character!!!

 I’m looking forward to Beauty & the Beast too–hope it’s good!

I can’t wait to see Ian Somerhalder again. I don’t care if he’s bad or really, really bad.  LOVE HIM!!  Hopefully he will get some good loving this year. After all the crap he’s went through, he deserves it.  I am SOOOOO ready for the new season of Vampire Diaries.  Hopefully Ian will aways be on the show because HE is my reason for watching.

 I don’t know how I feel about all this spoilery talk of ‘Damon going
back to S1.’  Yes, I loved him then, but I also love him now, and I
think all the light and darkness in his character has made him more
interesting and put him above this ‘bad boy’
persona who went around
tearing random people’s throats out and did stuff to make people hate
him even if it was for a reason.  The way I see it is, S1 Damon was
never really who he was, just like ‘good’ Stefan was never who he really was.  A big part of why Damon acted that way had to do
with other people, and not wanting to feel anything.  So my feelings are
mixed about it because I don’t like the idea of the writers undoing all
the character development he’s shown over the past 3 seasons and having
him regress…it seems awfully backward to me.  Of course it’s
understandable why he would, but I still don’t know if I like it.  That being said, I love Damon, but would I have loved him this much if he’d been bad through and through?  Probably not.  I also want him to find happiness.  But isn’t his new/old ‘screw you all’ attitude going to make it even harder for him to find it in the end?

 Damon needed to get his edge back and stop trying to “be the better man” for Elena.  He is definitely overdue in finding some happiness, although I don’t think it will happen anytime soon.  Damon will still care about the people on his “short list” and his home, but he will do things his own way and will not be trying to please anyone and he will definitely not try to “be the better man” for Elena.  Elena chose Stefan even after Damon had tried to win her fairly.  There comes a time when you just have to move on and close a chapter in your life and it sounds like that is what Damon is going to do.  However, I’m not so sure Elena, as a vampire, will actually be willing to let Damon go.

Sigh!! I miss the show..right now they should be filming episode 3 or 4, i’m guessing.

Since the CW is already filming, shouldn’t there actually be something new on the fall preview?
