CW Source has posted a new Paley red carpet interview with Julie Plec. She talks about Elena and Stefan’s epic love story, where Damon fits into that, the relationship between the Salvatore brothers, the characters she loves writing for, why she thinks the fans have come to love Elena, Katherine, and the Vampire Diaries fan community.

Damon and Bonnie forever, they have crazy chemistry. She is so awesomely independent and wasn’t easily sucked into the whole vampire romance like Elena. Bonnie is amazing. She’s a powerful witch and Damon is dark and misunderstood. They are sooooo meant to be together
