Three weeks to go in the countdown to the return of the Vampire Diaries on January 27th, and the CW’s Judy Yam is teasing us with a still of Damon and Elena (which may be from The Descent, but we don’t know for sure). A picture may be worth more than a thousand words, but we want to see your words as you speculate away in the comments.

With Delena fans luck so far with good scenes of them this season besides the compelling im guessing its about Rose like everyone else…… :(

Has anyone else noticed that Elena always wears blue?? It’s impossible to tell which episode it’s from because of that. In the promo, it looks like Elena is wearing that same shirt, but again it’s almost impossible to be sure. Looks like a sad situation though.

I would be so happy just to see Damon and Elena as good friends by now, cause i don’t think the writers will make Elena be with Damon right now. It’s like If she wants the other brother, then she will never be with stefan again, no going back. And I doubt that another Katherine-story are gonna happend with. I have no idea which team i’m on, i can’t choose. <3

Rose is not going to die yet. She will be in episode 2×14 as well.

Hi Minela- That’s not Kat in the picture… unless she managed to find a way around Elijah’s compulsion to stay in the tomb, find her way to Elena’s house, steal her clothes, take a bath and straighten her hair….stranger things have happened but I doubt it:)

Where did you read it that Rose will be around in ep 14?
I don’t understand this whole werewolf bite thing then and the whole first half of the season would be for nothing? I mean the werewolf part…

Hmmm….because that’s not what the writers originally sold the show on. They promoted the show, and sold it to an audience on a global level, about a human girl caught between her feelings for two vampire brothers….the reason for all the disappointment? It hasn’t happened yet. If you start to mix other girls for Damon into the mix, you loose the original charm of the show. You end up with a show like 90210 and Gossip Girl, where everyone ends up in everyone else’s bed….in other words, TVD begins to loose it’s appeal.

Rose is not going to be in the 14th episode. Casting sides to Stevie’s role are converted from Slater’s casting sides. Originally, in Emily Benett’s casting sides, she wanted to kill Bonnie and has totally diffrent name so you know. Anyway, VD can suprise! We will see :)

okay here is a thought i know iam totally late with the feedback but this is what i have noticed …A.)Elena is wearing a guy shirt cuz that does not look like one of her shirts it fits her way to big on the arms..B) i have never seen this scenery before its Stefans room its not elena room its not the living room of either Elena’s house or boarding house…So iam guessing it could be a peek of Damon’s Bed Room or Bath Room and C.) I am going to go with Bath Room since i think behind Elena to the Left corner i see a bluish Cloth like Towel maybe ??? and the Upper Right possible Shower Curtains??? Anyone Agree with what i see or am i being way too Crazy … If soo i blame my insanity on the one and only Damon Salvatore..

I agree with everyone else that Elena is comforting Damon cuz something is gunna happen to Rose. When I first saw this pic I thought omg but then when I looked at Elena’s expression it was like wow someone must’ve either died or something. I can’t wait to see this episode gaahh it’s killing me I can’t wait any longer haha its like being like Stefan wanting human blood so much but feeding on animals! Not counting this week it would be 2 complete weeks until the 27th! “The Descent” epi looks pretty intense.

…..Maybe Elena is actually admitting her love for him, just to Damon though. So, she feels guilt, hence the sadness in her expression.
