So funny, I thought about posting a comment yesterday explaining that I am not a hairdresser and do not really know where my sudden fixation came from :). It has abated now. In fact I have a completely different job which is more like yours (you’re a teacher, right?).

Yes, that is a good one.  I did see a recent pic of him where he is holding up his finger (shhhhhh)…that one was HOT!  It’s on either google or bing images if you want to add to your collection!

Excellent. There is a few of us around here from the blessed teaching profession. One of my colleagues is actually retraining as a barber right now, as she wants a job you don’t have to take home with you… So there’s a thought. Imagine cutting Elijah’s hair. He really does have nice hair, especially in Season 2.

This is fantastic news!  I will definitely watch now.  Wasn’t sure until they confirmed DG/Elijah will be a regular.  Yay!!!!  Now, it just needs to be more grown-up than TVD.  Please, no high school, no love triangle drama, please.  : )  Just badass vampires.  

The problem is, Elijah is an amazing character and is WAY underutilized on TVD. His fans are restless (and tbh, extremely unhappy). He’s too good of a character to waste.  And some people are actually really excited that the Originals will be getting their own show (completely deserved and earned) where they can shine.  Also hoping it is a bit more adult oriented.  So sick of TVD being stuck in high school.  

Don’t even ned to stress how sick we are of the constant “must kill an Original” threat.  

I understand what y’all are saying, but I also understand Kiki’s statement.  It’s a little much wading through all the Damon/Elena/Stefan comments to find some good old fashioned Elijah squeeing.  :)

Also, I’m a little torn about any cross-over between the two shows.  Mostly, I don’t want to see any of the Mystic Falls gang on The Originals.  I don’t want them taking up ANY time – they get enough screentime on TVD (especially the main three).  But it might be a good strategy to milk ratings.

Kat is not good enough for Elijah.  Elena used to be worthy, but after Finn’s killing, and all of season 4, I don’t think so anymore.
