You know what I just realized? The issue of Stefan / Stephan only happens in the US, as far as I can tell. Here in Brazil we don´t have that problem… Everyone spells his name correctly.
I´m thinking about launching a new campaign or slogan for Stefan… It would be “Stefan, te voglio” (that´s italian for I want you) lol

Sia, I don’t know if you ever watch high school related shows. Say, that new show 10 Things I Hate About You? but almost always the actors playing high school age characters, in shows or movies, are actually in their 20’s. Hardly ever are they the correct high school age. It’s the way of the business. So, it’s not that odd that the actors playing STEFAN or Damon (who, based on the books, is supposed to be in his early 20’s anyway and who doesn’t even pretend to be in high school for that matter) or Elena would be older than the average high schooler. Age isn’t important, how they play the characters is.

I'm not an orthodox fan of LJ Smith as you can see.
