Potential future plot…Thoughts?

First – Shane’s Realization: Shane discovers Silas had
manipulated and used him. Silas has no intention
of bringing anyone back from the dead, in fact he plans to take more innocent
lives, which feeds his power (Kol ‘s greatest fear). Silas used every dirty trick at his disposal to
be freed from that tomb and Shane made that happen (playing on Shane’s emotions
by using his wife to explain the plan and have him carry it out…the sacrifices…the
witch etc…Shane was not the first sucker to fall for Silas tricks…as the witch
in New Orleans explained to Damon/Stefan about expression). Shane is devastated; he will never see his
family again. Shane confides in Bonnie what he has learned. They both agree Silas
must be stopped. Bonnie informs the
others. Silas must be forced to take the cure and once human, killed (as Vaughn
had suggested). With the help of Shane,
Bonnie also believes she can do a reversal spell once Silas is dead which would
bring back all those souls (and only those souls) that were used to channel the
power to open the tomb and raise Silas from the grave, including Jeremy who’s
blood brought Silas to life.

Second- Klaus’s Plan: Klaus likes being the most powerful creature on the planet, but with
evil Silas out of the tomb that may change, so Klaus decides to come up with a
plan to ensure that does not happen. First
things first, Klaus needs the cure. He
agrees to a bargain with Katherine for it, the cure for her freedom. Katherine agrees. Klaus teams up with Bonnie / Stefan / Damon /
Vaughn and Katherine to start putting his plan in place. First Silas will need to be lured out into
the open. Since he will be hunting
Katherine down to get the cure, it is her job to lure him out. When Silas is in the open the others will
overpower him while Vaughn forces him to take the cure and once human Vaughn
will kill him. Once Silas is dead Bonnie
will perform her reversal spell to bring back all those who were sacrificed to
raise Silas and free him from the tomb?
Elena helps Bonnie by keeping her focused and not get consumed by the
dark side.

Third – Oh Happy Day: When Silas dies the following are
brought back to life…the town council members, including Hailey’s parents,
April is re-united with her father (they decide to leave town), Klaus’s hybrids
and last but not least Elena is re-united with Jeremy.

Shane’s fate – he can either be killed by Silas or
go mad and come back to Mystic Falls at a later date as a super villain wanting
revenge.
