What I would like to see is the Scooby Gang plus Elena trying to squeeze themselves into the tomb with Kat because it’s the safest place to be. And Kat will say, “You guys, all of you here crashing in my tomb isn’t really working for me. Go find your own hidey holes.”

When I saw it done with Slater, I thought there were so many ways the writers could go with that storyline of the Originals being able to compel other vampires. What could happen if any of those Originals compelled Damon, Stefan, Caroline, or Rose to do whatever they wanted them to do? Wow. Mayhem would ensue.

If you watch from 53-55 seconds, why does it look as if Elena’s going in for a kiss…does anyone else interpret it that way?

Well I think, she is irritated because Damon has never for a long time talked to her like that. She knows that he loves her – being successfully compelled or not – and maybe in this scene she realises that he does whatever is necessary to save her life no matter if it´s her way or not.
She has become used to a Damon who tries to cooperate to get back to her fríendship and in this scene he isn´t begging. He is the one in charge.

What MAC said about the compelling thing can be true, that wouldn’t be good. But it can also be what people said, that he’s just trying to stop her.
