Our gorgeous Stefan is BACK with his beautiful love, Elena. They look sooo Hot together. Love them. Jeremy looks like he is letting Damon know he know’s everything. Damon looks hot with Bonnie. The dresses that Caroline and Elena are wearing are beautiful. So happy to see Matt and Caroline and Stefan and Elena on the float, they all look great.

omg sooooooooo cool and so excited for the season finale :D …….. looks like there will be some great delena moments …. love the pick of them holding hands soooo cute :D…… cant wait to see what is instore for everyone ……. i still have a weird little hunch that katherine will be coming back … :)

Absolutely cannot stand their dresses. Not just because they don’t match up with the descriptions in the books, which we couldn’t expect anyway, but because they have a Halloween-costume cheapness to them. Maybe they’ll look better on a TV screen. A reticule or two would have been a cute touch.

It looks more in that shot that Damon is trying to restrain Elena than hold hands with her. Nothing at all romantic going on there.

The costumes Elena and Caroline are wearing are supposed to look like they were put together by amateur folk, not professional reenacters. Of course, they’re not going to measure up to those that were done for the 1864 flashbacks.

Again, I see nothing romantic here, but whatever floats your boat ;) It looks like she was getting ready to go charging off blindly into the lion’s den and Damon is trying to dissuade her from her impulsive act when Stefan shows up.

The last shot in the bunch is of Elena and Stefan looking off stage right. Stefan stays with her to protect her. I think they are gazing after Damon, who has left to deal with the fallout from whatever crap Uncle John has stirred up. Julie hinted that Damon starts a heroic quest that becomes manifest in this episode. It may signal the beginning of his personal path to redemption.

I definitely agree with your last point. SO excited to see that. Although, I don’t think that he is necessarily trying to retrain her, he would be doing more than just grabbing her hand if that’s the case. It doesn’t necessarily look romantic, but not… restrainful either. In my opinion, it looks as if he is trying to tell her something important.  (Quote)
