Yes, Kol is the only one who is not completely out of their mind.  So stupid for the scooby gang to not care if Silas could even remotely, possibly trigger the end of the world, all for the idiotic goal to make Elena human again.  sigh

I hate to say this but maybe Elena will be the one to die.  In the books she died and then was brought back.  Maybe she is the one to die, the hunt for the cure is no longer, getting Silas is the main concern so he will bring Elena back.  Just a thought.  That would change the whole dynamics around now wouldn’t it.

I’d guess Elena tells Bonnie about the plan. Kol has the white oak stake and all the daggers but the one Bex has. Elena asks Stefan to get the dagger from Bex so they can use it on Kol. IDK why she would trust him given his attitude towards her and that he’s hanging with Bex. Either she is naive and trusting or she makes him a deal about the cure. Anyway she might be telling Bonnie or Damon that they need to dagger Bex. I can’t imagine she’d tell Stefan she wants to dagger Bex since she isn’t sure what’s going on with them. Why she wants Bex daggered in the first place I have not idea. Maybe she wants to kill Kol and dagger Bex to get at least 2 originals out of the way.

Klaus claims to have but the only way to test that theory is to kill one of the others.

 Very true. Although in the season 3 finale Rebekah and Elijah said it wasn’t them and Rebekah said she was certain it wasn’t Kol. I don’t know how Rebekah is so sure though.

Well, there really aren’t that many “innocent” vampires. The vamps who are trying to live in peace among humans are few and far between. going by what we’ve been shown. Lexi showed Stefan that it was possible, but he’s struggled with it because of his tendency to enjoy the kill even more than a regular vamp. Rose, too, was trying to live without being a predator, if I remember correctly; I think that Elijah is probably doing it, for the most part, too. Damon can do it, if he chooses, and right now he chooses to because he cares for Elena, and some others-and that also includes the fact that he’s come to value MF as his home again, so he reigns it in because he wants to stay around, and it works a whole lot better if you aren’t using the locals in your regular diet. Of course, there is the “third way” that Sage showed Damon-the “snatch, eat, erase” method that Damon showed Elena. Obviously its not better than just subsisting on bagged blood, but its better than draining someone and leaving their corpse lying around.
So, if some die who are trying to live by the accepted human moral standards it would be unfortunate, but the flip side of that is that there are many humans who wouldn’t die at the hands(and teeth)of the many still predatory vampires out there.

 Elena asks to get the dagger and use it on Rebekah not Kol, this confuses me. It is a bit weird, but who else should get the dagger from Bex than Stefan? And in the last moment we see Rebekah show Stefan the dagger while they are dancing.

It would make sense if Elena would want Kol and Rebekah out of the way. I agree. She has become pretty extreme with killing in the last episode from not wanting one innocent people dead to plan a genocide of vampires. Idk it is weird and doesn’t feel in character, but maybe she wants that.

I’m looking forward to them having a blowout. They haven’t had a proper conversation with all their cards on the table since 4×08.

lol I think this statement is a little funny… Everyone’s in everyone elses business. There is no privacy… And I’m pretty sure Elena’s is pissed cos Bex killed her and Stefan is going there just like she got hurt when Damon slept with her after she tried to kill her the first time… Whether she’s friends or lovers with either of the brothers, in Elena’s eyes Bex is a bitch! And i DONT BLAME HER… not to mention that the reason Stefan lost Elena in the first place is because of Bex… LOL 

I think the difficult spot is that Stefan wants the cure, so Jeremy killing Kol is theoretically good for him, but Stefan doesn’t want Damon uncompelled because then he has no reason to keep him in the dungeon and he wants to keep him there as long as possible.

They must use the dagger on Kol (Come on, they’re not gonna kill him, right?) which gives them access to all the other daggers and Elena wants to use one on Rebekah because she thinks she’s extremely unpredictable and dangerous, which she is.

No. Stefan’s definitely the recipient of the punch. Klaus is strangling Damon though, if it makes you feel better.

 I though it was Stefan who is going to die because he needs to sacrifice himself for his salvation, like in the promo card.
