Yeah the blond is Caroline :) I think that’s why they didn’t have a blond Elena. Most tv shows/movies like things to be different with main characters. Even hair color needs to be different.

In twilight Jacob’s hair wasn’t pulled back because of James’ hair was pulled back. They wanted to make things different instead of having two characters with the same hairstyle.

Did anyone else notice that Stefan said he was born in Mystic falls…is that just his original story to the others or are they really changing that for the show too..no more italian???

Well, I still have my issues. And I think I’ll always have issues with some of the things they are doing/changed etc.

BUT. I have to admit it looks a lot better in the above trailer, than what I was expecting. I even smirked when Damon ‘flew’ in, which I guess is something for me.

That was floating around from the casting sides. There’s no mention of it in the trailers, so hopefully they won’t be cheerleaders in the series.

Damon is supposed to be as sexy as Stefan if not sexier. That is not the case here. Which kinda disappoints me. He should look A LOT better than in that trailer. And I don’t see Elena acting like a bitch yet. Caroline was supposed to start acting like a bitch from the start. Yes, I am very intune to the clips and everything, especially the books. And I tend to like seeing what’s in the books come out to life, on TV. So, it is a little disappointing for me to see how this is going so far. And they need to put Katherine in there as well. It’s not only the boy’s that are going after Elena. It’s Katherine as well. I’ll still be watching the show. But, I know it wont be like the books…….

Wow, I read these books when I was in 8th grade, and have always been fascinated with them. I also just read the 5th book that was just released not long ago. I have to say, the series is going to take some getting used to. It looks like they changed it alot. What happened to Robert E. Lee High, and they’re supposed to live in Fells Church Virginia, Stefan and Damon are originally from Italy, Elena is supposed to be blond, and there seem to be different characters that they’re throwing in there. Not to mention that Elena was a 3 year old when her parents died, and shes supposed to have a baby sister named Margarette. My big question is, where is Merideth??? Hmmmm, like I said, it’s going to take some getting used to.
