Some interesting nuggets emerged from the Vampire Diaries panel at PaleyFest tonight courtesy of @paleyfest and @nicegirlsTV: it seems Jasmine Guy, best known for playing Whitley on A Different World and (my hero) Roxy on Dead Like Me – will be dropping in on Mystic Falls this season. UPDATE: She’s playing Grams, Bonnie’s grandma.

As for the “Night of the Comet” screening, Sheena tells us: “There’s some definite tongue and fang action…it doesn’t disappoint. Plus lots more Damon.” Sound good to you guys? Thought so.
